Hi everyone... I hope your week is a good one... Love "hump" day... because we know that we are at the half way point and Friday is only a day away.... For my card today..I want to show how I turned ONE card into TWO.. I have stated that I am now focused on adding a little something to the inside of my cards as well as just decorating the front.. I am also committed to doing more CAS type cards as I just purchased a few Gorgeous Stamps from Unity and other brands.. So I want to do lots more clean Stamping. Soo As I sat there adding stamps and DP to my "inside" of my card.. My DH said to me"" Hey is that a Second card your' making... and I said "NO". its the inside of my card.. and I just have to put my Front cover together.. He said "ohhh" because that looks as a "finish" card to me!!! .. Good eyes Honey.. because after staring at it for a minute.. I said to my self and to him"... He is Right!!!! So here it is.

As clean as simple as you can get don't you agree..hehehehe I really LOVE how it turned out. Again I am soo Loving all the Gorgeous stamps that I have gotten from Unity Stamps"... This stamp is from the "Wishes & Kisses". I stamped with my " Memento Lady Bug ink" My Heart paper doily is from EK Success and that gorgeous DP was some Scraps from Echo Park Yours Truly..

I did not like the "lighting" so I took several images..just to get a better image of my card..

And keeping with my inside decorating.. I stamped a Heart image from the Wishes & Kisses set too...Ok that's it for me.. Have some house cleaning to do.

Happy Monday Everyone.. I am up early and ready to start my week.. Here today with our Farm Fresh Challenge Monday Fun Day #19; and today we are doing a little "Stitching".

Yes that's right, we want to see "stitching" on your project.. Faux for Real... One goal that I have, is to own a sewing machine and learn to sew on my card (I think it's soo beautiful and elegant.. But I do love Faux stitching with my White Gel Pen.. I think it just makes the card "pop" even more soo...

Here is my card.. I went with a simple theme for this one. I made a circle card with my Nesti and cuttlebug. and used an image from the "Tea-rriffic" clear stamp set.. Love this (it says... hope, love, faith.. Gorgeous.. I stamped it on Kraft paper with my Memento Lady Bug stamp. and cut it out.. I added some Ribbon, swirl and roses. The Paper from "My Mind Eyes" Love Me..and finish off with my White Gell Pen

Here is the inside of the card.. I used more of my Gorgeous DP. and added Yet another stamp. This time from the .. Made By Clear Stamp set.. Both stamp set and a whole lot more can be found at

Canary Love

Hi everyone.. I have another Gorgeous Creation from Krista over at Saturated Canary. I have just fallen head over heals in Love with these absolutely Beautiful creations from Saturated Canary. Say hello to "Canary Love". and guess what she is a "Freebie".. yes You heard correct this sweet little lady is a "Freebie". and you can find out how to get her and all the information about other great images and challenges all over at the Saturated Canary Blog.

I am entering this card into this week's Challenge. It is a colored challenge:

I just love looking into her eyes". I used more of my Echo Park Your Truly... Yes I might just go through the Whole paper pack.,, I added some paper doily from EK Success. and some Ribbon from my stash.. flowers are from Making Memories. and Sentiment is from Unity Stamps.

Here is a close up of Canary Love.. I colored her up with my Prisma and OMS... and added some glitter to her flower and head band and the little heart.

Here is the inside of my card.. I just love the look of the white and read as the main focus.

A Showcase and a Sketch

Hi everyone.. What a Wonderful and restful Saturday. ( my one and only day off) and soo I am making the most of it, and do I have some Amazing news to share today... I love Nikki Sivilis and her gorgeous creations with her Scrapbook kits and 6x6 paper pad.. I posted several of my cards with DP from a few of her 6x6 paper pad lines.. Well Guess What??? I was "SHOWCASED".. today on Nikki's Blog with 2 of my cards using her paper and two of my sweet images from the "Greeting Farm" how Awesome is that.. Julie Tucker Wolek (Coordinator) emailed me a few week's ago asking if she could showcase my cards and of course it was a big fat YES!!.. Thank you Julie and Nikki. Soo honored to be included in a group of some Amazing and Gorgeous Creations.

Now for this week's SCS Farm Fresh Saturday Sketch Challenge #2.

Here is my card suing this week's Sketch. I just love it. I used Princess Anya #2 from the Princess Collection.. Just love her gorgeous hair.. I decided to "paper piece her out fit and crown. with Echo Park Yours Truly"

I also used two stamps from the "Build a Onesie" clear stamp set. My stamp kind of smudge o the flowers.. but I added some bling to the center.. love that little crown.. don't you..

and here is the inside of the card.. Again love using the left over scrap paper.. that way we don't wast any thing.. I added the little crown again to the inside.. Looks gorgeous and the "pink card stock"

Farm Fresh Friday Spy Day #18!!!

Hi Everyone.. Can I tell you that I had the BEST week ever.. This week we ALL know was CHA Winter Show in Anaheim CA.. and soo it was very close to me As I live in Los Angeles, Which is only about 40 mins from there.. Even though I could not attend the Trade show.. Because it was NOT open to the public :(( I still got a chance for an Amazing Meet and Greet with my Family from The Greeting Farm as well as some ladies from some other Amazing Sites that I love and follow ( LA LA LAND Crafts) Hi Ladies :0). I will be posting pictures of those before the end of the day today... But just wand to share because I have not blogged since. hehehe

And Now for this week's Farm Fresh Friday Spy Day #18.. Today we spied.

Here is my card using my Sweet "H.G. Laundry".. Who can't relate to her, But as you can see she does everything (Including Laundry) in Fashion and Style.. I have colored her up before and I just love to see how I can make her different but still FAB and cute.

I used paper from Cosmo Cricket. "Material Girl".. love the buttons perfect with the laundry theme.. little puffy button is from Ki Memories.. Michael's had them on sale for .79 cents Reg price like $3.99 so I picked up a few.

Here is a close up of Laundry colored with my Prisma Pencils and OMS.. Sentiment is a "digital stamp". I printed and cut out.. (Create with TLC).. and swirl is also from Michael's.

Here is the inside of the card.. I used my EK Success Threading Water Punch.

I used the super cute.. W. S Ryan. I have not colored him up in a while soo when I saw him I thought I would color him up. I got a sample of the 6x6 paper pad from Basic Gray Little Black Dress.. I know "Dress".... But the paper are so 'versatile" and I love that..When I saw this I knew what colors I was going to use. And soo it was just "Perfect".

Here is a close up of Ryan.. I said he is "kool" enough for a "white T-Shirt and Sneaker. I colored him up with Prisma and OMS.

Key to my Heart with Monday Fun day #18

Hello my sweet crafty friends. Wow a start of another week. It seems like I just posted yesterday..hehehehe (especially if you are looking at my blog).. I am here with this week's Monday Fun day challenge with the Farm Fresh Challenge..

Our Theme for this week challenge is "Key to My Heart"....... We want to see a Key and OR Heart on your project.

Here is my card using another image ( I call her Miss Anya Garland 3) from the New Miss Anya Garland Set from the Greeting Farm. She is just Beautiful with her sweet little heart garland and her beautiful dress and leggings with matching head band.. I used more of my Gorgeous Echo Park "Your Truly". My Heart boarder is from K&Co. key is from Making Memories and Sentiment from TGF clear stamp set Flutter Heart.

Here is a close up of Miss Anya.. I colored her with my prisma and OMS. added glitter to her hears and head band.. I made the flowers with my scrap and EK success small flower punch/ studio g $1.00 punch for the smaller flower.

A little Thank You from Saturated Canary

Ok Hi everyone.. Happy Monday to you all.. I my self am still up and can not get my self to sleep. So I thought I would post my 2nd card with my Sweet Saturated Canary image.

This one is "Thank You"... and I am just head over heals in LOVE with her.. I mean her eyes.. She can have anything she ask for; just by looking at you with those eyes..

Don't you just love how she has her hand on her dress as she is ready to do a little "curtsy" as she says' Thank You. I used Echo Park. DP.. and added a ribbon from my stash and wanted to add a little bling so I added the swirl flourish.

Here is a close up of her.. I colored her with my Prisma and OMS.. But again I will be coloring her again. as I want to go a little darker and heavier with my Prisma and OMS> I do really like how her hair turned out though..

and here is the inside of my card. again just using the left over pieces that I have to add a little color to the inside.

Ok I will be adding more images,or may this one for sure as I get to color them again.

Hi everyone. wow... Love the weekend but don't they seem like their only a few hours long. hehehe,,,,, maybe it's just me!! I am back with another Fabulous challenge from me and my Awesome DT members from the Farm Fresh Challenge blog.

Our theme this week is "Doily and Lace".. does not matter if it's material, buttons paper just have fun with it. and make sure you use a Greeting Farm image.

Here is my card using another Sweet girl from the Blush Society Set.. meet : Blush Bonnie"..

I showed you Babbette a few weeks ago and this is her other half.. I say sister.. and she is just as cute as she wants to be with her sweet lacey dress and socks. I made a really fun and easy card with my new 6x6 paper pack from Echo Park "Yours Truly" I got the Journal tag from the Yours Truly line too. My lace rosette I got from a great little on line store. : pizzazzplenty blog spot. I just added a little pearl to the center of it and some glue dots to stick it to my card. Swirl flourish and Pink ribbon are from Michael's. I finished the card with some little stitch dots that I made with my White gel pen.

Here is a close up of Bonnie... she is all so dressed up and her hair is just as stylish as she is. colored with Prisma Pencils and OMS.

and here is the inside of my card. I use the sentiment that came with her and my Martha Stewart Heart boarder punch on my left over paper.. Great way to use up your stash too.. .. I think it is perfect for Valentine..

Ice Cream and Pickles with Saturated Canary

Hi everyone. I am enjoying a little "late" night crafting... Nothing better than "everyone in bed or at least being quite and being able to have just a little me time.. I spend my Saturday coloring and getting a couple cards done, but just was too tired last night to post them..

I am quite sure a lot of you have seeing some gorgeous Sweet and Whimsical images out there in blog land then you have meet and visited "Krista" from Saturated Canary and if you have NOT; then you will want to head over to the blog to see her beautiful Art turned into digital images for us to color and enjoy. I have ran on enough: Take a LOOK:0)

Look at this "Beauty" right here. Seriously have you seen any thing just soo Gorgeous.. I have been purchasing a few of them since October, November and have been coloring them. But I just was not "happy with how they turned out. espically when you see some of the talent of the DT and other wonderful crafters and colors like my self.. So when I had time or even thought about them I picked up my pencils and went to work.. I know we are our worst critics.. But we also know when we are happy with our "outcome" :0).

Say Hello to "Ice Cream and Pickles". the name says it all does it not.. hehehe. She can be used by any one for any one and that just ONE of the things that I love about her.. She is just soo Beautiful with her Little round face and Beautiful Round Belly.. She is for my "Half Brothers" wife , they are welcoming their first child in a couple weeks. and she looks just like her at this stage..

I know you can tell what 'were" having by looking at the colors right!!!. YES a sweet baby boy well soon be added to our family and we are all excited and waiting for his arival.

Here is a close up of her.. I just love her "eyes" and of course her gorgeous "Charlies Angel" hair cut.. I love it. ( I can't stop saying that)...Again I think the card turned out just Great.. But; I still see where I can improve. So I will be coloring her up a few more times.. for her Ice Cream I gave her,, 3 favorite "Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry, her pickle and a cherry.. I wrote out the list of "his favorite things" I love that little tag.. Soo cute.

Ok Now for my card,, I got this Gorgeous Paper and embellishments from a Scrap page kit from "a Little Yellow Bicycle" I got if for a great price at Blitsy.. Now for those of you who have not heard of Blitsy, it's on online site for ALL THINGS CRAFTY.. they have weekly sales to members ( FREE of course) on certain items that are so much cheeper than you would normally pay for them.. I have ordered several items from them and shipping is great and fast.. LOVE my items. including this paper pack.

Him everyone.. Yes I am back before the end of the night with another post. We had a GREAT time tonight with our Monthly Live Customer Chat on the Split Coast Stamper forum. I enjoy talking to my follower crater "face o face" hehehe.. We truly see just how much our lives are so "alike" and I just over all love being able to have a little "Girl Talk"... Here is a close up of Annika. She is just soo gorgeous with those big eyes.. Matilda just loved her books she read just about every one in the library.. and she had to have her "ribbon" with every outfit.. It was my daughter that brought it to my attention that she needs her ribbon. ( I just use some "curly ribbon" that I had a big roll of. I think I found I new item to in-corp with my crafts..LOVE IT!!!

Getting Sentimental TGFM16

Hi everyone. I am "hosting" this week's Monday Fun day over at the Farm Fresh Challenge blog.. and this weeks we are "Getting Sentimental"..
I just love the newest release of Clear Stamp Set " Flutter Heart". It is just soo Gorgeous with some absolutely Fabulous sentiment and images.

I wanted to try my hand at "Clean and Simple".. So I decided to just go with the Sentiment as my Focal Point.. The frame and die cut is from PTI and was just "perfect" for my sentiment. DP is from "My Minds Eye".. just cut out a piece and used my "rounded corner punch". The Heart border is also included in the set as well as that sweet "heart tag" that I stamped and cut out (I tied it with some brown twine) added some ribbon and that was pretty much it.

Here is a close up of the sentiment and little tag.. I added some flat back pearls just to give it some "bling".

and here is the inside of the card. I use an extra strip to cover up the back of the ribbon and added some more hearts and another sentiment.

A Bevy of Butterflies with "Unity"

OK.. did you miss Me.. hehehe I am back with my second post for the day.. I have had this card on my computer for the last few days, but did not get a chance to post it until today!!!. I am soo "Excited about this post because it is my very first card that I made using images from "Unity Stamp Co.".. yeahhhhh . I know every one has seen all the wonderful images that they have to offer, and I have been a follower of theirs for sometime too.. But not until I liked on FB and start following that, more and more of their lovelyness was being seen by me every day.. Not to mention that I got in on some Amazing Sales on lots of their stamps and kits.

So Here is my "First Card" that I am showing, using one of the most "Beautiful set of Butterflies".

Bevy of Butterflies

I show cased a card the other day where I made a "desk top calender Easel card.. Well I mention that I had purchased a few of them.. So I wanted to make sure that I got them on projects for a few people that I wanted to give them to.

I made this "Desk Top" Calendar/card for one of the Resident at my Job.. She lost her "cat" the other day and as you can imagine is very "heart" broken over it.. So I wanted to give her something more that just a "Sympathy card". I wanted to give her a little token to brighten up her spirit and something that she could look at over and over again.. ( And She really LOVED IT TOO.. :0).. She told me that It meant more to her at this time than "I" could imagine"... and that really made my heart Happy"

I have to say that I got this idea and several others like it, from a great Tutorial on YouTube..Here is the link if you would like to see it for your self. I started with my PTI Card stock and Two Butterflies from the set. I Stamped the images first on my card stock and then "Paper Pieced" them again on some DP from Basic Gray- "Hopscotch" I used my Nestibalities to cut out the base for my calendar, added a little scrap of DP and added "Scor Tape" to attached it and pop dot to attached it to the card. ( I may have gone a little over board with my "white gel pen". Sentiment and Swirl is also from the Stamp Set. and added Glitter. The Pearls are some Gorgeous "flat back pearls" that I got from "Pazzazz Aplenty" if you have not visited then you really should too.

Here is a Side view of my card soo you can see how I stamped once on just the card stock.

and I thought it would be Gorgeous to Stamp the Envelope too..So I did with my Memento Lady Bug Ink and added more glitter.

This one has NO stamped images, But waned to show another great Idea for your little Calendar.. and Yes I got this from the Same Channel on YouTube.. and Guess what ( you get to download the Calendar for "Free"

A Little "Retro Fresh Love"

Hi everyone.. We're officially half way thru our work week.... and I am soo looking forward to my weekend, because I get the "whole" weekend off, and my family and I are planning a little "weekend" getaway.. soo we are all excited about that..

For my card today I used the super cute little digi couple " 50's Sweet Heart.. How much more Retro can you get than these two fun loving couple from the 50's.. Love Anya's Skirt and Ian's Hair.. (can we say Happy Days :0)

Hello everyone..Welcome to another Fun day Monday ( Monday Fun day #15 over at the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog. Our Theme this week is a

Recipe Challenge. Polka dot, PINK and 2 Ribbons. (Do you think you can handle it!!!!!

For my card today, I combine 2 different projects that I have been working on.. For the first part.. I used the Fabulous Fabulous stamp from the "Blush Society Set".. Please say hello to

Miss Babette Here self. I think she is so Beautiful and a little Sassy, with her Gorgeous Long (in my case RED hair and her super cute little outfit and Choker.

Now for the "Second" part I bought a few of these little "desk top" calendar to use in some projects. I know that the New Year has started, But I figured that as Long as I get them done by this week, it should still count.. I had my image colored, I had the calendar already to go, But just did not know what I wanted to do or how I wanted for it to come together.
Then I saw this really cute sketch and some of the work from the DT.. and Finally it "all" came together. I made an Easel card (as I saw it done) that opens up to a "Desk Top Calendar"

Here is a Close up of Babette.. I am just head over heals in love with her hair; just look how beautiful it is. I wanted to make her more of a Red head, with Orange high lights.. So I played with a few of my Prisma Pencils, and this is what I came up with. I put her in a Pink dress and added a little green to the bow and trim and her socks. Of course I had to top it off with a little "bling" soo I added some glitter to the "greens" too.

I think it turned out "pretty good :0)... I bought my little calendars, but I also found several sights that you can download and print them for "free" My DP is another from "Nikki Sivils... Hey if I like something I stick with it ( if you could not tell!!!!.... This is her "Ellie's Day Out 6x6 pack. I have had it for a while and have bee several package with them. But I can make more and more (good thing I bought another 6x6 pad to help with that.

Here is a close up of the inside.. I added my sentiment and some Pearls to finish it off.

Hi there.. WoW week One of January is behind us already... Winter what Winter!!I know everyone else where have been enjoying the snow and a little cold weather.. But we here on the "West Coast" have been enjoying some Gorgeous 70 % degree weather. I work in the afternoon/evening soo it was really hard just driving in to work with the Sun and Breeze on my face. But I did soak up as much of it as I could before I came in to my office.hehehe.
Today is Friday soo I am back with this week's Farm Fresh Spy day with the Farm Fresh Challenge blog.
This week our talented Team Capt. "spied" a gorgeous little creation from TGF Gallery..

I followed a lot of the layout; But I really focused mostly on the Color combo.. As the Blue and Brown with white is just so Beautiful.. For my card I used my bran NEW image from the "Miss Anya Garland collection. ( I have said it before.. But I absolutly LOVE the Miss Anya Collection.. I only need 2 more of these gorgeous stamp set to complete my collection. (until Marie and Jess brings us More>> heheehe.

I Just love Miss Anya and her gorgeous hair with her braids.. and here flower garland is just too 'stinkin cute".. I have to say that I got some great insights about coloring and shading from the Awesome Premier Farmers over at TGF. ( if you have not meet them yet Please make sure you hop on over there to see what Gorgeous Creations and Inspiration is popping up on the Farm)

I colored her with my Prisma and OMS.. My DP is Nikki Sivils "Blue Berry Hill".. I have become such a Fan of Nikki and just looking at her Awesomely beautifully DP you can see why.

Happy New Year everyone.. We are on Day 2 of 2012, and I my self really don't do or should I say stick with any New Year resolution, but the one thing that I do plan or "goal" that I am setting for my self, is just to get more dedicated to my "Craft".

Today is Monday Fun day #14 at "The Farm Fresh Challenge. and this week we have a

Color Challenge : Blue, White and One other Color

for me that would be "Green"

I got a few new images from The Greeting Farm and one of them is this sweet little set from "Oliver & Amelia" Surprise. This set is just perfect for Birthday or Anniversary. I went very simple with my card being it is a "masculine" one. I only cut out a little square of my DP from My Minds Eye " lime Twist". a cute little ribbon and some "button brads" Sentiment is also from the Stamp set.

I colored Oliver up with my Prisma Pencils and OMS... I have seen some great inspiration where the image's hair is just left as is. Does he not look soo "handsome" in his jeans and dressy shirt with cute vest.

Farrm Fresh Friday Spy day #12

Hi everyone.. ..wow I am soo behind with my posting... I spent the whole day with my sisters... Something we have not done in about 5 months; it was totally not planned.. But we had a great time. Then I was off to work, from work I was at the "grocery store and then finally home.. So that was my day (As I am sure was yours just the same)..
So after all of that I needed to get my card uploaded for this week Farm Fresh Spy Day #12.
This week we "spied" this Super Gorgeous card from "Baete"

I used Wild Sprout Ebony".. I just Love Ebony she is in my TOP 5 Favorite in the W.S. line.. She is soo cute in her little skirt and legging.. and that T-shirt with the "skull".. SOO SASSY..hehehe

My lighting is soo "bad" I have to change it NOW!! (sorry it's not the best quality.. I will retake pictures tomorrow and "edit" for a better view)

Warning "Lots of Pictures"

Hi Everyone... Sooo Happy for today.. Because it's "The Greeting Farm 3rd Annual Customer Blog HOP!!>>>>>>Please make sure you start at TGF for the "full list" of blogs for our hop.
As I ponder on what to maker for my DD's class for her last day of school.. I saw some awesome "inspiration" from all the Talented ladies of both "The Greeting Farm "Farmers" as well as my Talented team over at The Farm Fresh Challenges Blog; But mostly from ALL of you; that participate in our weekly and monthly challenges. I say it again' "You all ROCK!!!!!
I Decided to make these very "Cute and easy" Treat Bags with several stamp images from The Greeting Farm.

I started with a 4x6 Clear cello bag. filled them with some goodies. (if you look closely at the Granola bar you will see some decorative green tape.. that's because they are from Halloween... Hey a group of 6 yr old don't mind hehehe.
Cut my Card stock at 4 1/2 x 4 1/2. folded in half. I added some strips of DP and stamped with the Christmas Tree from "Cheeky Christmas" and Sentiments from "Keep Cozy" Set... Added lots of stickles to the Christmas Tree, but it's hard to see from here.

What was so great about these where that I "ONLY" used my scraps of DP to decorate my white card stock.I only had to make 20 of them which really took me no time to finish them all.. .

This Next one is the Card I made for her Teacher.

" A Little Snow Man Soup"

I made this super cute and easy Hot Cocoa Holder for her Teacher.. Using one of the Snowman (colored with Prisma and OMS) from the "Keep Cozy" stamp set. I am just in LOVE with this set.. I can use all of them "over and over" again.

Here is the inside with a packet of Hot Cocoa, packet of marsh mellow and a little candy cane. If you would like to purchase this "template and many more you can find them all "here".

I found this " Snowman Soup Poem" on line and just printed it out.. Sorry about the bad image.

I just love "stamping" on Kraft card stock.. It gives your images the perfect "vintage look. I did a Kraft image a few weeks ago with coloring... So this week I though I would just stamp and leave the image as "IS"...(Yes of course I had to add my "Sparkly" some where, so I added some glitter with my Sakura stardust pen to her wings and "halo"..

I finally got a chance to use my Gorgeous.. "perfect Angel" from the Naughty or Nice Set from TGF. She is just soo Gorgeous with her beautiful "curly" hair and beautiful wings. She is still very much a "Christmas card but a very Simple and non traditional color card. I just love this paper from Echo Park "Season Greeting" 6x6 paper pack.

Welcome to another Fab Retro Challenge

Hi everyone.. Wow I have been soo out of it.. I picked up a "nasty little bug over the last few days.. It really got more and more "annoying" last night, but When I woke up this morning, it wrapped it self around me very tightly.( I had to stay home from work.. :0(. I know I am soo far behind with my card Series.. So I will continue to count this one as "Day 5" in my card Series.

I am glad I got a little energy this evening to finish my projects for this months:

I used the "Super Cute "Keep Cozy" set.. I saw these little guys and just fell in Love with them. I had my tags from a "prize" I won back a few months ago.. They are soo beautiful I love the feel of the paper.. For My first little guy I "paper Pieced his outfit. Sentiment is also from the set.

For my second I colored his hat and Scarf with my prisma and OMS. and added some "stickles" to his "ear muffs and added some "black pearls for his buttons.

My Design Papers and Matching Ribbon is from "Martha Stewart. I got them on a great sale at "Michael's. I used "green and black on him and added lots of stickles to his scarf "You know me I just love my Bling hehe and again Sentiment is from set.

Hello everyone.. December 12 is here soo that means 13 more Days until Christmas.. It's here and I know that we are all soo busy with our Christmas to do list.. Me my self am still trying to play catch up with getting my cards out.. I am hoping against hope that I can get them "ALL" out my this Friday, But as for my Monday Fun day Challenge over at the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog, I moved away from my Christmas card. and went with a Birthday Card Theme for our "All Boy Challenge this week,.. Monday Fun Day - No embellishments! Say it it Soo

Hello everyone.. Wow we have come to the start of a new week.. And soo it's time for another Monday Fun-day with the Farm Fresh Challenge. And what a challenge it is.. This week our Lovely and talented Joni is our Hostess with the Mostes. Our Challenge this week is "No Embellishment".. Say it ain't soo!!.. I could not imagine doing a card with out any embellishment... and I still don't think DID.. lol unless my "flower that I made from some scrap paper can really count as an embellishment?? I would say NO hehehehe.
I used my New Cheeky Collection "Glamour".. I think she is just "glamorous.. isn't she.. I have all but 3 of the entire Cheeky Collection.. I went with a little different technique this week and stamped on "Kraft card stock" and used the Black and White technique.. With only using my Black and White Prisma Pencils. I first saw a "tutorial" on this over on the GF blog.. and I loved it. I have tried it several times, and I do really like it.

I used this week's "The Sweetest Thing" sketch. My card stock if Kraft. I really don't remember what brand the DP is. I have it for over a year now.Sentiment is from "clear Stamp". Scallop board punch is from Stampnup. and again I did use my small flower punch to make the flowers.

12 Days of Christmas Day 3

Ok Here I a back and up to speed now with my dates and posting of my "12 Days of Christmas". So Here is day 3.. You can see that I am going with a "trend" here as this is my second card using another gorgeous from La La Land Craft Blog.. Say Hello to "Sunny Christmas Marci... If you didn't know Marci is from Sunny California.. So she can wear a cute little "Christmas Dress and Flip flops.. I LOVE IT!!!..
She is getting ready to deck the halls and get her decorating "ON".. OHHH by the was she too comes in both Rubber and digi.... She too is a "digi">>. yes I went shopping on the On line store and picked up some of my favorite.. I could not afford to purchase all that I got in Rubber.. But being that I LOVE working with digi,, I am more than HAPPY :0)))

Know when I saw this "Marci I knew that I wanted her with her little lights.. As I had the DP in mind since I am using Most of my 6x6 Paper pack from "Echo Park" Holly Jolly Christmas pack. and then I remembered I had this cute little "lights" set that I got from Michael's last year after Christmas on Clarence. Love it too.. . Card stock and Sentiment is from MY Newest order from PTI. My EK success Punch for the Boarders. Prisma Pencils and OMS>. with lots of stickles for some awesome glitter. and finished off with some pop dots.

12 Days of Christmas Day 1 (a day late)

Hello everyone.. I finally had a day to my self. (and it was Wonderful..The house was still full and on top of that we have family over still as I am posting this. But I just worked right thru it :0)). I am still working on my Christmas cards.So I wanted to get caught up with my 12 Days of Christmas Cards series.. I did not get a chance to post my Day one card..

I just love La La Land Carft stamps.. Marci and Luka are just the cutest.. So when I saw "Angel Marci". I knew that I wanted her to use for my cards. She is just soo BEAUTIFUL..don't you agree??? She comes in both "Rubber" and Digi.. She is a "digi"!!!

I colored her up with my Prisma Pencils..and my Skaura Star dust pen. Her wings and Halo are just too cute to me. so I added star dust to those as well..

Was soo Happy to get my PTI package in the mail today.. I ran out of some of my Holiday card stock colors and did not want to make a trip to Michael's.. Where as for my Card stock basis... Nothings better than PTI. So when I got my package it saved me from going out and I was able to try out my new Stamp set. My card is measured at 5 x 4 1/4. DP is what I got at the end of last year from "Michael's. Deja Views12 x 12 paper pack.. I got it in a grab bag for $2.00 with some other GREAT items....It's Deja Veiws "Fair Isle Christmas" I just love the paper and because it had soo much going on already.. I did not want to add any thing extra.. So I just added some "Flourish Swirls from Reflection .. (those I did get from Michael's) and added two snow flakes.

Farm Fresh Friday #9 and Day 2

Hello everyone.. Well as we all know it's December 2, WOW!! only 23 more days until Christmas.. I said that I would start off the month with my own "12 days of Christmas" post.. but as usual I am " a day late and a dollar shot".. (Meaning that I am always running behind.. So please don't be fooled by the "Post". This card is meant to be day 2 of my 12 day posting.
As you can see I combine two challenges. As it is Friday and that means that it is time for our FFF SPY Day challenge. And it's my week to host the challenge.. I scanned the SCS gallery and came across a very sweet layout, and so I knew that I wanted to use it.

I just love the colors on this card.

For my Image I used W.S. ViVi She is such a cute little elf. As you can see she is hard at work getting all the gifts ready for "you know who".. I thought she would look so beautiful with "green" hair.

Here is my card I used DP from Echo Park Holly Jolly Christmas.. I really love this paper pack and I am going to use it for a lot of my cards.I made my a 5x 51/2 card so that I can have enough room for my square pattern. The Sentiment is from the "Clear Christmas" set.. My little ornament if from "Reflection" from Micheal's. Now you know I had to add my "stickles and sparkle to Ms. ViVi.. So for her fur and stockings I added lots of Stickles. For her bell I used my Sakura Star dust pen. And I finished it off with some Liquid Pearls from Ranger.. I started off "paper piercing" around the edges but changed my mind..so that's why the top few are a little smudge. :0).

Monday Fun-day#9 X Three

Hello everyone.. I hope that for those of you who do celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday that it was a very blessed one and that you where surrounding with family and "love ones".. We had a great Thanksgiving. despite the fact that we woke up to.. No Internet and no land lines.. So we could not reach out to friends or family either by the phone or the computer... It was a "Major outage that effected over 500 customers:0(... But finally at about 2:00 pm "today" I looked over and saw that "all the lights where solid and green on our "Uversive" box and when I checked the phone.. Yeahh we had a dial tone.. So even after Thanks given we are still given thanks for our continued "blessings"

OK!! enough about that.. I was soo excited that the Internet did come back up. Because I was able to post my card and theme for this week's challenge over at the "Farm Fresh Challenge" . Our theme this week is

3 of Anything... We want to see three of the same items on your card like,, 3 DP, 3 Ribbons, 3 Die Cut.. Anything that you choose.

Here is my card.. As you can see I used "Beanie Anya".. I just love her in her little "beanie and scarf".. and she is just perfect for "paper piecing"... for my 3 I choose 3 DP from my "Echo Park- Holly Jolly" 6x6 paper pack. I am trying to get my "Holiday cards" started and out of the way..

Hello everyone.. I am going to make this a "really" quick post. (I am at work right NOW so can not be on the computer for too long..

I was soo bumbed out last night when I got home from work.. We just got our "Internet" back up and running. And I don't know if it was because of the rain we had all day yesterday (Sunday) but both our Internet and our "land line" was in and out "ALL DAY' yesterday ( I mean ALL day) so I was not able to upload my card for this week's Monday Fun day challenge over at the Farm Fresh Challenge Blog.

Hi there.. Wow I have been with out Internet for 2 weeks.. and it was the longest 2 weeks ever.. But today is a "Happy" day because I came home from work to find out that we are UP and Running.. Happy Monday Everyone.. Time just keeps on going and going does it Not!!!... Well I am back for another great Monday Fun-day challenge with the Farm Fresh challenge Blog..

I know that soo many of you are counting down the days this week not only for all the "holiday shopping and Turkey day prep that we will all be indulging in.. But because it's the week for the newest release of "Twilight Breaking Dawn part 1"

Well if you are any thing like our super talented and true dye hard "Twilight Fan" such as our Team Capt. Margie then you are waiting "not soo patiently for it's premiere" hehehe. I have seen all of the movies (when they make their way to DVD.. but I have enjoyed them.LOL.. So that brings us to our challenge this week which is a great color challenge with a Twilight Feel..

Red, Black, Silver/White..

and we want to see a Twilight theme or feel to your card or layout.

You don't have to use any specific images ( other than a GF image of course... but just pull out our Team Edward or Team Jacob.. or maybe just a fun take on the color combo and lets see what you come up with.

I love this color combo,, so I was really excited to come up with a project and layout for my card. I used an Image from the "Miss Anya Collection" and one from "My Guy Ian".. This was my very first time at an attempt to "Mask" my images and I must say I really liked it.. I can see where I can improve. But for a first timer I think it came out pretty good.???

Hello everyone.. Well we have come to another end of our work week and for those of you who are lucky it's the start of what is sure to be a great 3 day weekend. Even though I have to work I at least get to sleep in late because my kids don't have school.
Now if it does not get any better than that I am back with my card for our 6th Farm Fresh Friday "Spy Day" over at the FFC blog. and what a "awesome" card that our 'lovely' Margie Spyed in our own TGF gallery..

For my card I used the cute little "sleigh" from the "Clear Christmas" set. Please let me say before I go any further. My picture quality is "NOT" my best. Hi everyone we are back at the Farm Fresh challenge Blog with our 2nd Retro Fresh challenge. What an awesome turn out we had for our 1st challenge..
For my Retro Fresh image today I choose W.S. "Sassy Suzi".. I have always loved this little lady and her Gorgeous hair cut with all those layers. She really is "sassy in her cute little jacket with the "fur" all around it.. I have to confess that I never owned her when she was in the Shop over at TGF ( she has since been retired.. I think??... But what an amazing stroke of luck when I was able to purchase her from a fellow DT member who was clearing out our "Crafting" items.. When I saw her I jumped to the chance to buy her.. eekkkk!!! :0))))

I decided to make a circle card that I will use as on of my 12 "ornament cards.. ( even though I still have about 3 months to catch up with..

Ok we have come to the end of another week..It's my turn to host this week's Farm Fresh Spy-day challenge over at the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge.. I love challenging my self to do new things and to think outside the box..
So when I came across this gorgeous step card I really wanted to give it a try.. Yes I have done several version of "step card", but yet to do a "Center Step Card.

This was so much fun to do.. but if I am being "honest".. I can never get my "mountain and valley" correctly.. hehehe, But it finally came together and I think it's good. I could not wait for this new release..I just love "Holiday Anya"; she is just soo beautiful and elegant in her "holiday gown and gorgeous "poinsettia hair piece.
She is festive and ready for the "holidays".. I wanted to go with the traditional "red and green", but still added my own little twist to it..

Hi everyone.. I am posting kinda late. but after I get home and do my "Real" job I don't get a little me time until everyone has gone off to bed.. So now I finally got a chance to relax and do a little "me time" :0)... I worked on this card last night, uploaded her this morning, and then I just edited and added my water mark before I posted!!!!... Say hello to my sweet little friend "Britney button Up.. She is a "digi" ( although the digi's are no longer available.. BUT they do have her in "Clear Stamp form"..
She is one of the newest release in the Jude line Jude Fall from Simply Betty Stamps. I have always love seeing these images, and even though I have had a few I just never got around to coloring them.... So I pulled a few out and got some coloring done over the weekend If you have not seeing these wonderful You really need to head on over to her store and check it out!!!... "For me NOW the challenge is to put them to some card stock and make some creations with them.. I plan on showing them off over the next few days...

Monday Funday #4 Embossing

Hi Everyone; hoping you all had a great weekend.. I did, but with only have one day off, it's not much of a weekend.. But I did get quite a few images colored up, so that made it a little better. But enough about me I want to say welcome to our 4th Monday Fun day over at the Farm Fresh Challenge blog.. I hope that you are "all" enjoying seeing my creations as I am still over the "moon" as being a Design Team member.

Dry or Heat, it's all up to you!!!

I just loved this challenge, because it took me out my "comfort zone" as far as coloring...I did not do any coloring for either of my cards. I created these two very simple but really cute (I think) "gift cards". The perfect little note card to use as a card by it self or it can be used on top of a gift with a cute little note inside.

For both my cards I used the newest Clear stamp set from The Greeting Farm. "Clear Christmas".. I fell in love with this the moment I saw it.. This first card is a 3x 3 1/2 card. that I stamped using this "gorgeous" Christmas tree from the set. I used Verasmark ink and some "Detailed White embossing powder from Stampendious. Then set with my Martha Stewart heat gun.

For my second card I took it up a "notch".. But still very simple and easy to make. This card measured at

3 1/4 x 3 1/2. I have had a pack of "vellum" card stock from PTI for a long time, but never took the steps to use them.. So this was perfect to try with my something new. Image is also from the "Clear Christmas" set. total of 11 stamps. I stamped on the vellum with my "versamark" ink pad and embossed with the same embossing powder.. ( Not too bad for my first try.. right??? :0))))

What exactly IS "RETRO-fresh"?

Well, we know that we are blessed to have LOTS of customers with us from the very beginning, back in 2008...not ONLY does that make us the luckiest little stamp co. this side of the world, but it also means there are LOTS of designs that need plenty of lovin' that maybe haven't seen daylight in a while ;)

On the 2nd Wednesday of the month, the FFC is proud to bring you

RETRO-FRESH!

Each month we will have a THEME and this month's theme will be:
ANIMALS.

No animal stamps? NOOOOO problem! Use paper, embellishments, whatever you have!

Just use ANY TGF STAMP that is at LEAST 6 months old.

Our theme this week is a "Color challenge.. How fun is that!!!

I choose "Cheeky Shooter" from the Cheeky collection. I just used my black and gray to make it more of a vintage color.

I Spy!!! A New Challenge

Hello Everyone.. Wow It's Friday already... We have a Brand New Challenge Theme on TGF Farm Fresh Challenge Welcome to our very first "Farm Fresh Friday Spy- day.

"Farm Fresh Friday SPY-day" will run VERY similarly to the former "Mystery Monday" challenges, meaning we will still "spy" a card from the TGF Gallery and then you will be able to pick an element/sketch based on the card to CASE.

This week the person that we "spy" is dictionary"... and her very cute creeper card

I went with this "sassy" image from the New Clear Stamp line "Furever".. As soon as I saw this card I knew that I had to have it. This image is so0 my DD and our little cockapoo "pebbles"... ( this is just how she looks as she takes pebbles on her daily walk.

What a TEA-RIFFIC day!

Hi Everyone.. Wow how fast was that weekend.. It's Monday October 2nd... We will be seeing all the "holiday decoration's by next week wont we!!!!
Today's my First official post as a DT Member for TGF Farm Fresh Challenge and I am both soo "exited and nervous at the same time.. hehehehe.. After seeing the Huge turn out at our SCS launch I was in Ahhh...

Today is Monday-Funday..
"MONDAY FUN-day"- an 'anything goes' kind of challenge day w/ LOOSE themes (generic like use pink, use sketches, etc.) ONE RANDOM WINNER will be drawn from the IN LINKZ entries attached to the bottom of that week's post.

Our theme this week is "Scallops" My favorite shape when making my cards.

I choose to do a "circle scallop" card...I Love making them and keeping with my "ornament" challenge... I fell off because I did not do one for Aug or Sept.. ( but I know I will get them done..

Happy World Card Making Day..

Hi everyone I hope you all had a great day.. and if any one "visited" SCS ( Thank you for welcoming The Greeting Farm.. I am still "super excited and happy about being on the FFC Design Team.

I wanted to make sure I got in a few cards done for World Card Making day... Just as my DD asked me for two "Birthday" cards for 2 of her "besti" So I deiced to show those for my WCMD.

I used this little sweetie from C.C Designs Party. Now on the Original stamp she is holding a balloon. But I got too close with my scissors and I cut off her balloon :0(.... But luckily I had these balloons from EK success.

Here is another Image from the same set... I love her with her little banner.. I had these papers and thought it would be great for it. I got a little inspirations for each of my cards from several sits.. but still added my won little "twist" to it.

EEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!! thats me screaming with "excitement".. I have been bursting at the seems trying to hold this news in... YES Ladies and Gents I (lil old me) AM one of the news Design Team member for TGF Frarm Fresh Challenge....

If you remember I was a Guess Designer for the Month of June on The Greeting Farm blog.. and shortly after I got an email from Jesica Deidrich asking if I would like to me a part of the FFC for the next term..Words can't say what an honor this has been for me..All those who follow my blog know that I am just a Huge Fan of these gorgeous creations and know I get to create with a group of super talented ladies for the next 6 months... Christmas has come early for me. hehehe

A Little Sugar N Spice And Some News

Happy Friday everyone... Wow its here already!!!.. I am looking forward to my Weekend.. Now before I go any further.. My Title did say some NEWS.. I have a "Huge" announcement to make tomorrow :0)))) I will be tapping my feet ALL day today just bursting with excitement. So Please check in with my blog tomorrow.. Plus with it being "World Card Making Day so I know that we will be making lots of "gorgeous" creations and crafting.

Now for my card.. I have another birthday card for someone, and I decided to go with "Sugar N Spice Marci from La La Land Crafts. I just Love Marci and her sweet "lil" face.

I used this really cute sketch from "The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog I just love all the dimension to it.

I know you have seen an lot of my DP from Echo Park's Little Girl collection, but What can I say it is on of my favorite collection. Card stock is from PTI, the ribbon was just a last of some that I had got from CHA 2 yrs ago. The flowers are from EK Success. Prisma Pencils and stickles for my coloring, some liquid pearls and pop dots to finish it off.

A few more Non colored cards

Hi everyone.. Here are a couple more cards that I did this week, where I did not color any of the images... This was a card that I made for some one that asked me to for them.. It was very last minute so I just decided to do something.. clean and simple.. I have a few "verve stamps" that I had won in a giveaway, but never really used them.. So this was just the perfect time to ink up one of them.. I stamped on PTI with Memento Rich Coca and cut it out with my scallop circle punch.
I did not use any DP!! The yellow is From Bazzill (I got it from Michael's) and I love it because it is already "embossed" with some gorgeous flowers. so I did not need to use any thing else.. The ribbon was just one piece I had left in my scraps. and just finished off with some "bling"

No Coloring type of post

Hi everyone I got a chance to do a few cards this weekend, where I decided I did not want to use my coloring pencils... Wow yeah I know I can't believe it my self.. Before I got my pencils I was just learning the "basic technique" of card making and I just loved stamping with my colored ink, embossing with my Versamark ink and being more creative.

So I was browsing "you tube" and got some really great inspiration from "Kristina Werner". She as the most amazing channel with some great card making tech and tutorial.

This stamp set is "Dance" from There She Goes Clear Stamp set I stamped the images on DP with Versamark ink and embossed with "White embossing" and set with my "heating tool" and added some buttons.

I used the Sketch Saturday Sketch

DP is from JellyBean Soup.. I love it soo.. Card stock PTI and Bazzill, Punch EKSuccess, Nesti Circle. Sentiment is mine written with White Gell pen. and pop dots. to finish it off

Hello Everyone I hope that your day was a good one.. I had a "good " time with my "meet and greet" and my DD school. I got to fill out a "volunteer application and turn in; because I had already had a New TB test clearance.

Say Hello to Ahoy Oliver from TGF.. I just love him in his "sailor suite".. I made this card for someone at my Job, and was able to give it to him "today... I know her was "very surprise and happy to receive it..

Of course I colored him with my Prisma and OMS. I did a basic and simple card, but thought that the super cute DP kinda of said it all. The paper is "Echo Park" Little Boy. My embellishments are from EK Success. Stamp Ahoy is also from the Stamp set and stickers are from m stash.

A Little Laundry

Back Soo soon!! :0))) .. Yes I am back with my 2nd post for the day. I just LOVE this image from TGF... This is Laundry and you can tell that her "sweet lil face" says it ALL... I know that we can all relate, And so I knew that this Sentiment (which is a "freebie") from Create with TLC..... Just love Paulette and her AWESOME sentiments. ( if you truly HAVE NOT heard of her then Please do your self a favor and make sure to visit.. and remember to ALL WAYS leave some love when you download on of her freebie.

I colored Laundry with my Prisma and OMS..... But even when doing "housework".. we must still have a little glitter and sparkle. So thats what I added to her head band and slippers. and cut her out with my Oval Nesti.

Something for Teacher

Happy Sunday everyone.. Wow just a few more hours and where off and running again with our week... I am still finding my way back to the normal routine of getting the kids off to school and then having a few hours to my self before I too head off to "work".. So I know that everyone might be done with all their "back to school" cards for teachers and their students.. But I am still playing catch up.. I usually will have a card for the teachers on the "first" day of school. especially for my youngest one. She still enjoys being able to give her teacher a gift.. But this year was a little hectic because we where settling into a new address and new school.
But This Wednesday they are having a "meet and greet" breakfast for the parents.

So this is why I am showcasing Ms Lucy from the "Puddle Jumper" image from By Lori Boyd designs.. I sure enjoyed being a part of Lori's DT a few months back and still LOVE all her images... Lucy was just perfect for the card for Lynette's teacher with her little school bag ,books and of course an "apple" for the teacher.

I colored Lucy with my Prisma and OMS. can't really see but she has glitter with stickles on her bag, hair ribbon and even some on the top of her "socks"... My DP is from Basic Gray "Hopscotch".. I had only purchased a 6x6 sample pack from Claudia and Co.. But I think I might have to get the Whole pack because it is just SOO gorgeous and I do love it soo.. Sentiment is from Paulette over at Create with TLC.. Card stock is from PTI, white gell pen and pop dots to finish it off.

Hi there and Happy Monday.. I hope that you all had an awesome weekend.. I cleaned house all day Saturday and Sunday was just all about "Me".. I did not lift a finger to do anything but my coffee, doing my hair and making a card. ( I just started work so after being home for 2 yrs it's a bit over whelmed trying to get back into the "swing" of things.) But I am not complaining as I am just "blessed" to be able to say that " I am working"..

Now on to my card..I don't have to tell you what everyone already know and that is... being able to "showcase " my favorite stamping Co.. Now as if I have not said this before.. This image of Wild Sprout Ruby has to be my ALL TIME favorite in the Wild Sprout line...I have been wanting her for ever soo long..But she was out of stock for some time over at TGF..So the moment that I saw her back in stock I knew that I had to have her.. I mean just look at her gorgeous face and her 'hair" is just simply GORGEOUS!!!!

This card was used for a few challenges including this past WOW challenge over at FFC where the "theme" is Metal ( I used two brads..so I hope that it counts as "metal".

Hello everyone; hope you are all having a "blessed" and wonderful Sunday..I am enjoying my time doing some crafting and getting ready for the week, as ALL of my kids will officially be back in school. I think they are even more excited than I am.

I Love paper piecing, it really puts me back in the time of playing with my "paper dolls" and coloring and making all kind of cute clothes for them. So I was really excited to play along with the challenge going on over at "The Pink Elephant". What was even better was that this week's challenge if being sponsored by my ALL time favorite stamping co. TGF for my card I used Wild Sprout Megan. I have had her for ever But never got a chance to ink her up and create a project with her, so I know that she was happy to finally come out and play.

I can tell you after being away for soo long it's kind of strange even posting a card :0)... But I know that I will get my full swing back in no time..

Hi everyone.. Wow I can't believe it's been a WHOLE MONTH since my last post..I had to take a "much need break to get some of my priority in order. ( I know that ALL of you can understand that.:0)... over the last 6 weeks we had some unexpected challenges come up with in my immediate family.. Let me first say that we are ALL HEALTHY AND WELL..and I do thank God for the blessings that he has graced us with. So just wanted to make that clear.

I also want to thank those of you who have taken the time to send an email or a message asking about me and making sure that everything was ok with my self and my family..I can't say just how much that filled my heart.. ( Thank you for saying that you missed seeing my work... it lets me know that someone is paying attention.. hehehe Again I say thank you

Never the less we are going thru some adjustment right now, but I know that I will look at those changes and challenges as Opportunities for something New and wonderful. They say if One door closes just open another and if that one is still close; then BREAK a window, find a crack, or a whole and just bulldoze your way thru. That's where my Art Journal page comes in.. soo as much as I have not done any card making or other projects.. I have kept up with the progressive weekly challenges over at "The Greeting Farm" with their "HE-ART Journaling. and this week's theme is "Text".

Well it's very late and I have an early and long day ahead of me tomorrow.. But I have created several cards and I will be posting them tomorrow..

A New Challenge and Journey for "My Self"

This is my Journal cover. I used some card board from a packing from one of my 12 x 12 pack, cut it down and decorated with some "distressed ink and some stickers. It says " Explore and Enjoy the Journey"

Hi everyone. Today I want to take a little time out from my "normal" day to day challenge post to share a little something New for me. We have all seen that the newest and latest craze right now is "Mix Media or some might call in "Art Journaling. I have seen quite a few of these and of course thought that "there is No way I can do this and I "wish" I could and so on and so on with the "self doubt". That is basically how I live my life.. Want so bad to try something New. But always afraid to take that first step. And I know that I have limit my self from soo Much with this behavior. Because the TRUTH is once I take that leap I often find that I can do just about any thing I set my mind to and I am the one holding my self back.
So this brings me to my "Art Journal". Marie and Jess over at The Greeting Farm as started an Amazing 23 weeks project. Were are are challenge to participate in a class type setting where we get a weekly assignment of a project layout for us to use in our Art Journal. We don't have to over think any thing on this; it is mainly for us to open up our "creative buttons" and inspire our self to think outside the box.

It took me a week to make up my mind or to actually send the email saying I wanted to sign up for the class. And even after I did I thought I won't be as good as everyone else and I can't create and so on and so on. That is until Yesterday when I knew that our 1st assignment was going to be due today. For our 1st week we are to create something or anything with "Wings". I did not even have a good "Art Journal" was my first excuse as to why it would not work for me).. Even though I had bought this little spiral note book from Michael's for a $1.00 last week. I knew that I wanted to challenge my self to "challenge my self so I just sat down, pulled out some "distress ink, card stock, and come "chalk ink" with a couple stamps that I had But never use and before I knew it, my little 2 page layout was coming together. :0) and it was soo much FUN. I just thru Ink on my page and how ever it came out that was my "creation".

So Now that I know I can do it I feel like I am well on my way. This process is for NO other challenge than my weekly assignment as I get them from TGF. I will not "Edit" my pictures in any way shape or form. hehehe So what you see is just as I have created it, and I know that in a few weeks I will look back on this first layout and be excited just to see how far I have come and hopefully along the way I will help me with being able to take those "Leap of Faith" that we call LIFE and just to live and GO FOR IT..

I know a lot of this blogging will be "Me" just talking to me and even though it will be put in to words for others to read this Journey will be "MY Journey.

Hello everyone, since we R still enjoying some gorgeous weather here wanted to get in a few more "summer themed" cards. I am a "huge" fan of All that Scraps and the Honey line. This Is "Bikini Honey" I believe I got her at the beginning of the year from an "on line store that was going out of business and had all of their Rubber stamp at an incredible price of like $3.00 so I grabbed a few and she was one of them.. She really likes lounging around in her bathing suite doesn't she :0).
I had to pick my designed paper out before I colored her and soo when going thru my stash I found that I had 3 sheets of 12 x 12 EK Success "Day at the Beach" that I had not used as of yet ( saving them for a good image like "honey". So when I saw all the purple ( my favorite color) I knew that I wanted to use it for making my card.
for the Sketch I used this week's one from There she Goes

I colored hone with my Prisma and OMS. and added stickles to her bow and her glasses ( she likes to be all glammed up no matter where she is.

Card Stock is from PTI,I ran the Purple card stock thru my cuttle bug to get a little "wave action going and then used my Stardust glitter pen to high light the waves. Ribbon is from Wal-mart bling was some left over in my stash and star and sea shells are from EK Success.

Hi everyone. Tuesday is here.. yes we say it But time "stands still for no one" :0).. I am not soo big with doing masculine cards.. I love them, but just don't do them as much as I love coloring up my cute Ladies. ( just a girly, girl I guess. But I do love all my friends from "The Greeting Farm" and since I got this handsome, but rugged little guy here when I was a "guess DT" and only used him once I thought it was time to bring him out again.

As you can see I used the sketch from this week WOW from TGF Farm Fresh challenge. I love it and was soo easy and simple. My Designer Paper is from 'Echo Park"- Little Boy I love all the bright colors of the buttons. and I also used some scraps from my American Crafts paper pack. Buttons are from Wal-mart. and I used my white gell pen to add some "faux stitching"

He is colored with my Prisma pencils and OMS. I used my largest "oval" Nesti to cut him out and added some "broken china distress ink to the edges.

Here is the Other Image I purchased from Crafts and Me. Let me say that all 3 images that I showed where ALL digi's. ( love that I can download right after purchase.. especially because Crafts and me is Located in the UK. Nothing like Not having to wait :0).

This Beauty is named "Aliah" she is soo Beautiful to me.. just look at those eyes, and lips... and did I mention the Hair.. talk about not having a "bad hair day".. She was amazing to color. because her hair already had so much details it was easy to go in and add my colors and find all her highlights. just "gorgeous"

I was so happy when I got my mail yesterday because my New sampler pack form Claudia and Co. I posted on my blog that Claudia was having an amazing sale on just about everything in the store.. and her paper packs where a steal at 40 % off.. I had been eyeing these gorgeous and yummy paper from Basic Grey "Hopscotch" for a while so I had to grab a pack while they were on sale. I LOVE them such pretty pattern and colors. ( You know when you have your really GOOD stash you try to be as "frugal" with it as you can. hehehe... that's why I only used One sheet for my card. The Lace/doily is from K & Co. Blings was last in my stash,, I have to get me some more!!! Flower is from Prima I had sprayed it with some "glimmer mist" a while back but never got a chance to use it.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing these gorgeous ladies as I have enjoyed coloring them.

Happy Saturday all my wonderful "Crafty friends".. I hope you all had an awesome day and hopefully got some crafting done..Well since we are rapidly coming to the end of July.. (Wow after this we will have 4 more months until the big day) I thought I would get a jump on some of my Christmas cards. hehehe..

I had such a great time coloring up "forever" Rose from "Crafts and Me" I had to go back and get a few more of their Beautiful Images.. I have always been a huge fan of these "Mystical Images", but was always a little scared with coloring them.. Just because most of them have soo much details, But once I did my first one naturally I am now hook on them. I think they are just "perfect" it you are like me and love to color hair.
This sweet little "Christmas Fairy" is called " Irish Christmas Fae". and She is soo ready to come and spread a little Christmas to All". I colored her with my Prisma and OMS. Decided I wanted to go really Red for her and I like it!!! for her fur I used my Stardust clear glitter pen, and for her wings I added lots of stickles ( also to her cute flower reef.
