A little Announcement and A Corner Bookmark

I wanted to start my blog about my most Awesome Crafting weekend. I had such a blast this weekend. First it was a great but busy week getting the kids back in their school routine, so we where all looking forward to the weekend. What made my weekend that much better was all the wonderful surprise that I had with my crafting.

  • I won the weekly challenge over at Michelle Perkett challenge blog.. that was soo Awesome  Not this week but Last week :0)

  • Had a blast with SOG where we had digi day..  I won with two of my cards and what more was the Over All winner of the Day ( thank u ladies you guys throw the best parties

  •  I was picked as the Saturday Showcase over at SassyStudio Designs ( they are my first stamping group and blog that I signed up with.. and this was my "first" time to be chosen ( Thank you Lindsay, Sara and the rest of you talented ladies

  • And last but certainly not least I was screaming and laughing out so loud (my DH thought I had truly flipped my lid lol.. Because I won the NEWEST set of Miss Anya from The Greeting Farm...  these stamps don't come out until Oct 1 but Marie gave 5 away to some lucky members and I was ONE OF THEM!!!  That was icing on the CAKE!!!! Who does not love TGF stamps??? I think I am becoming more of a collector than a stamper ;and any time it is asked I have to say that Miss Anya are my favorite of of the entire collections.

I wanted to show you my "corner book mark" that I made. It was for the challenge over at All that Scraps I love the C.C. I have used her before But I just love her and so how can I not use her "again and agian' and again.. :0)  I have never made a corner bookmark before.. so It was fun to try and I liked it.. so does my daughter she already asked me for it.. lol If you check out the challenge blog they have a link to a great tutorial. I colored her with my prisma and OMS  the DP is from K & Co. my ribbon is from Michael's and the boarder the the Martha Stewart Heart punch set . It was very easy and quick to make too. A Fairy named Willow

This is just a quick post; I wanted to get my card in for this week challenge over at Michelle Perkette challenge blog. First of all I wanted to share that I WON.. Yayyyy,  the challenge from Michelle last week. I was soo excited I feel so confident now that I am crafting more and more and  to know that people like my cards and they like to leave me a comment about it. WOW  if feels good. :0)

For my Image I choose Willow the Autumn Fairy I just loved these images but was not sure if I was able to color them as good as some of the other crafters that I see. I used my prisma and OMS and one of my favorite medium to color with my Sakura gell pen. I loved being able to use it to color her lovely flowers. I inked her back ground with Tim Holtz "antique linen.". For this week, Michelle and her awesome DT came up with "Stitching it Up, real or faux. I do NOT own a sewing machine, (it is on my ever growing "wish list".. but I love to faux stitch. I used my Martha Stewart fine writing craft pen in sepha and frond .. lol

The DP is from S.E.I Moonrise I purchased this in a paper pack from Claudia over at Die Cuts R Us.. I bought several packs ,so I am happy to see what I can create with them. The sentiment is from PTI and stamped with Memento: Rich cocoa and I use my EK success butterfly punch ( i have been using that a lot.. I just love it!!!

A 911 Tribute

Hi everyone I am enjoying my Sunday Afternoon and I hope that you are too.. My DH has spoiled us soo today,, we woke up to a Grand breakfast .. table settings and all and now as I set at my craft table he is in the Kitchen making dinner ( I am Blessed to have a wonderful partner like him in my life) He loves to cook.. But we do take turns making dinner as well as my oldest daughter and my son has now been in the kitchen twice to begin his training :0) ( we believe that both the girls and boys should be able to learn how to cook)
Enough about me. I wanted to share my card that I have entered in for Robyn's challenge over at "My Pink Stamper" we are to create a project in memory of Sept 11. Then I saw that I had missed out on the release challenge for Sassystudio designs. Even though I missed the challenge I just fell in love with this sweet little  Nurse Honey  is she just not SOO Sassy and Fab. I follow OWH so I am getting a small box of cards that I have made to send out to them.. so this will be perfect to end with. I colored Nurse Honey with my prisma and OMS I just love how she turned out. And of course I had to use my Cricut. I love using my cricut with most of my card project now I don't need to pay for extra embellishment when I can make my own :0)
for the flowers I used my George Basic and Shape and my EDPD cart for her very cute little "medical bag" and the ambulance. then I blinged out the wheels and the back lights. Sentiment is from PTI and stamped with Memento "tuxedo black"
this card is also for the following challenges:

Hello I want to share my cards that I have created for the challenges at SOG Digi day over at SNR. I love these little stamps and I have collected quite a few of them over the last few months. Well yesterday was Digi day where the DT came up with some Awesome games and Challenges. I had planned to participate in some of the games ( I think I played 1 of them lol.. Well we survived  our first full week of everyone going back to school. But  I think we all knew yesterday was Saturday and so we ALL slept it a lot late lol
But when I saw the challenges I wanted to start coloring and enter. For this Digi day their was a total of 3 card/project challenges (well 3 is what I did !!)  the and so here are my card for the Challenges.

My first card is for the first Challenge..Ice Ice Baby  We where to create a card with your favorite ice cream flavor. I went with the image: "3 Scoops" and my favorite Ice cream sandwich flavor of course it's Neapolitan I colored them with my prisma and OMS I also used a little Tim Holtz to distress the edges . the paper is October Afternoon (the front and back side), two paper flowers with some pearls I used my EK success punch for the boarder and the sentiment is form a cupcake clear set stamp and stamp with Memento Rich Coca the ribbon  is from my scraps and added a little faux stitching with my white gell pen.

My second card is for the Second Challenge is Fun with a Twist.. One Layer with a Ribbon and embellish the boarder

I also used "cupcake glow" aren't the cupcake just too cute I love with the the candle.  I did not use any DP but stamped the card stock with my cupcake clear stamp and embossed with with EK success and clear embossing powder ( I love embossing but just have not practiced with it too much :0).. I cut her out and used my Zig two way glue to apply her to the card stock, the ribbon is from Michael's and the sentiment is a part of the same stamp set ( I will have to tell the name later) and for embellishments I used my Pearls from BasicGrey

And my last card is for the 3rd challenge "Masculine" for this card my Image is "Tobie and his dog" I just love this little guy I had these papers with the dog patterns and did not know how much I would be using them so I was glad to use them on this card. I also love using my Cricut and want to use it a lot more in my images and projects. The little embellishments (bone, bowl and bed) was cut using EDPD.

This card is also for the sketch challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday # 66
