Fairly Amazing

Hello there in Blog land. It seems like I have moved to a once a month posting/blogging. Well not really, life just seems to be all around me and keeping me pretty busy, I have been home schooling my son this past year, and so that has taken a lot of my time from me, plus my older son is graduating High School next month and going to college in the fall so that has taken all my priority..
I have colored quite a few images ( coloring is and always have been my piece of mind), but getting them on to cards is just a different story,

Well I challenged my self to get a few cards done over the weekend and I have one to share with you all today!!... This lovely little fairy is "Lillian" and she is from Simply Betty Stamps. She is (don't know if she still is; but you can check on the SBS FB page) a freebie for the Face book page for SBS. Every month she gives a 'FREE' image for you to use in the monthly challenge, and you create a project with it, and then you can get the next month image free too..and if you don't want to participate in the challenge, you can purchase her in the store over at the SBS website!.
This month challenge is a color challenge. "White, Orange, Black and Yellow"...
I colored her up with my prisma and OMS.. and added glitter to her wings, kind of hard to see from the pictures. but trust me I added 'LOTS' of glitter!!! DP is from Echo park.

Here is a close up of her.. I just love her hair and wings.. Please stop by the SBS web site, to see all the other amazing and talented crafters.

April Showers and Other New Beginnings

Hello everyone.. I got around to not only making a card, but actually posting it to my own Blog.. I just have not had any mojo for the last few months when it comes to my crafting, Not that I lost desire for it, just a lot on my mind and plate right now.
Well it's my week to post on the SOC blog, for my monthly post, and with it being April and all I thought I would bring a little April Showers, so that we can get some May flowers and everything that comes with the new feeling of Spring and Warm weather.

I chose to use my Sweet little "Honey with Umbrella" form CC designs and All that Scraps. She is a digi, so I printed her out on my printer and colored her up with my Prisma and OMS.. I love paper piecing her in her  little rain coat and boots and matching umbrella.  I added the rain and water splash from another digital image, I just merged the two imges.
For my card base I started with cream card stock from PTI. DP is from MME. and Ribbon is also from PTI.. Please stop by the SOC, blog for all the details..

Happy Scrapping.

For day 10 of my 12 day of Christmas, I went Clean and Simple.. It took me No time at all to whip these two cards..
I used one stamp set which is a Clear Stamp set from The Greeting Farm.. "Clear Christmas".. Some colored Memento ink ribbon Twine and a little embellishment.
I started with some white card stock and cut them in to 3 X 41/2 stamped my image added my sentiment, tied a piece of red twine, and added a little embellishment
For this one I did the same but I went in with my cuttle bug and added a little frame. I used some gorgeous Ribbon from Martha Stewart, I love it because it has the Christmas Tree on it.. So it's just Gorgeous!!!

12 Day of Christmas- Day 9 Looking Back

Hi everyone.. Ok.. I just wanted to stop by and post my Day 9 of my 12 day of Christmas cards.
Again I wanted to show some of my previous work.. This was done back in 2010.. I got a tutorial from 'youtube' showing how to make these adorable little tags.. they were soo cute and easy to make..
This was my Very First attempt and making a circle ornament card.. I Just Love this sentiment.. and as you can see there was No coloring done for this.. As a matter of fact non of the cards I am showing had No images to color.. Wanted to so a little diversity with my projects.. I got this sentiment from "The Cutting Cafe".. Love Love it..
My last one.. I just used basic card stock and some chipboard from a Paper pack I believe from Echo Park.. I used a cuttle bug folder a beautiful white and silver ribbon and I was done. Very easy but very cute
