A Little Hippy

Hi everyone this card is for this week's challenge over at Sassy Studio Design. For this week the challenge was "paper piecing". I love this technique.. it really reminds me of playing with paper doll. Remember we would buy like the Coloring Book with a lot of activities and playing with all those cute clothes and accessories.

I paper pieced her groovy jeans. and colored the rest of her with my prisma and OMS. And added some of my hand made flowers. I said it before bu I really love making these flowers to and finished off with adding a little bling.

For my card I used this week's sketch form Carly

Friends to the End

OK my second post is all about Friends. This sweet little girl is "trickortreat" from Mo's digital images. I just love this little image, love her the little dogie is all dressed up for his "trick or treat" adventure. I can't tell what or how he is holding on to his treat bucket.. I will leave it for you all to tell me, is it in his mouth or what??
For my card I used the "square" card from this week's Mojo Monday, and of course she is colored with my prisma and OMS. It's really gloomy right now and yes still HOT.. so I don't know if that's the reason but my picture did not come out as bright as I would have liked it to.

Yesterday they stated that LA broke records of hitting a very HOT 113* did I mention HOT.. now whats the funny part of that is  I am just about 58 miles out of Los Angeles, and we are usually the Hot area, but luckily we only reached 101*.. LOL

Here is my card for the challenge over at WFP this weeks challenge was a "sketch" challenges. I used "fairy Willow" I colored her with my Prisma and OMS and for her wings I used my Sakura gell pen to add a little bright/bling to her.

Happy Monday everyone R we ready for another week. Boy!!! September will be over in just a few days WOW!!.I wanted to show my final project for Robyn and My Pink Stamper challenge. This challenge is hosted by her BFF Karlee and she wants us to make a project using "Envelopes".!! If you check out Karlee's blog you will see that she did an "amazing" tutorial video using Envelopes to make an "envelope book"

I got my project from a tutorial on PCP.. I altered the size by half.. becuase the envelops used where much bigger (business size) than the ones I have which are the normal A2 size.. So my project measures at 3x4. (great for gift cards, or little note cards)

I cut my card stock ( Bazzill) at 4 x 6 1/2, decorated. with Ribbon and DP, and then folded my envelope in half. cut off the top of both sides and then used my circle punch (1") and cut half way to complete the opening. And the to close I just added a little velcro circle. I also added a little faux stitching with my white gel pen. and of course I had to use something from my Cricut,, so I cut the cute little mailbox from the "Doodlecharm Cart and added the sentiment " hi there" ( PTI and stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black

A Little Treat

Hi everyone I have a little treat for your today... this is Anya as a little Halloween witch. I think this is my first project showing off one my Anya collections. I have quite a few of these sweet little ladies in my collection, but don't get to play with them too often. I am a HUG fan of TGF and follow both of their blogs.. but I mostly look and comment. For this week over at Club Anya and Friends WTW the challenge was to create a cute little Halloween treat bag or gift. They even gave a tutorial so I new that I could not go wrong with following along.

DP: Kay and Co. (from last year, I had some paper left over in my scraps), I colored her with my prisma and OMS, Nesti: oval scallop, and Hersey Nuggets in a clear treat bag.

A scrap book and a Challenge

Here is my project for the 1st Challenge that Robyn is hosting for her 5 Million Hit on her Blog. Of course we all snapped away pictures of our "little ones" on their first day of school and my purpose was to do a scrap book page of Lynette & Jordan. This is their first time being at school together and it is Wonderful. Their school is a "closed campus" school , which means that we the parents are not allowed on the school grounds during school hours with out permission.. So every morning I take them as far as the gate of the Kindergarten entrance, and from their Big brother takes Little sister's hand and walks her in to her class room. I stand at the gate and watch as he whispers something to her :0) I don't ask what he says to her because I figure that is between the booth of them.. But just seeing the pride on his face, lets me know that he is giving her one last assurance that she will be ok and to make sure that she has a good day..

This is a great challenge becuase its a "Any thing Goes Challenge". My scrapbook page is a 8x8 page, which my daughter bought for me from her summer camp job this summer. I  am soo intimidated by the 12x12 sheets, because their is soo much space that you need to cover. So when I got this album I thought that it was just perfect for me, since I am still learning my way around scrapbooks.

I hope you like it!!! ;0)

My card stock is PTI and the DP is from a paper pack from "Me & My Big Ideas. the ribbon was just in my scraps and the sentiment " put on your dancing shoes- ( SimonSaysStamps- Wise Owl Once Said) see she has the music notes and her feet's look like they are moving to the beat.. lol  her eyes were filled in with my NEW I-Rock and Irock bling. It's not too late to join in on the fun soo why not jump over to see her blog.

The Moments that makes us Happy

Hi everyone I don't have a card to share, but something much more "close" to my heart. Today I took my daughter Brianna to take her senior pictures. We have been getting ready for a couple of days now. I am soo proud of her and her accomplishment, and getting to  her senior year and all that will come with it I want to enjoy every moment with her.

We were'nt allowed to have any camera's cell phones, or video's in the studio, but I had to sneak this one in when I saw her standing there in her "cap & gown".  I felt as though it was her graduation all ready lol, Shows how fast of a journey we are ALL on in this beautiful and bless thing that we call LIFE!!

The first picture is me showing off her new hair style (which I did ;0) and make up..

Sew Beary Kind

Back with another post.. it seems like "stitching" is the latest craze for cards and challenges right now :0). I love it; I don't own a sewing machine my self.. BUT don't mean I can't make an absolute "fab" faux stitching. lol.. I do love seeing every one's take on stitching, I have even come across some great tutorials.
This week at Design 2 Delight Faith gave us this sweet little Teddy bear who has been busy stitching his flowers ( yes for me its a he I colored him with my pencils and OMS and yes the flowers are done with my Sakura gell pens.  The DP is one of my 6x6 sample paper pack that I purchased from "Die Cuts R us" love the flowers and the color of this paper.  I embossed the chocolate card stock with my cuttlebug. the Ribbon is from PTI and did you notice the flowers?? the smaller ones are from"Reflections" (Michaels). But the larger one is one "I made" this was from a tutorial on how to make "grunge flowers" I love making them and will continue getting better at making them..:0)
