Monday Funday #4 Embossing

Hi Everyone; hoping you all had a great weekend..  I did, but with only have one day off, it's not much of a weekend.. But I did get quite a few images colored up, so that made it a little better. But enough about me I want to say  welcome to our 4th Monday Fun day over at the Farm Fresh Challenge blog.. I hope that you are "all" enjoying seeing my creations as I am still over the "moon" as being a Design Team member.

Our theme this week is>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>  EMBOSSING >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Dry or Heat, it's all up to you!!!
I just loved this challenge, because it took me out my "comfort zone" as far as coloring...I did not do any coloring for either of my cards. I created these two very simple but really cute (I think) "gift cards". The perfect little note card to use as a card by it self or it can be used on top of a  gift with a cute little note inside.
For both my cards I used the newest  Clear stamp set from The Greeting Farm. "Clear Christmas".. I fell in love with this the moment I saw it..  This first card is a 3x 3 1/2 card. that I stamped using this "gorgeous" Christmas tree from the set. I used Verasmark ink and some "Detailed White embossing powder from Stampendious. Then set with my Martha Stewart heat gun.
For my second card I took it up a "notch".. But still very simple and easy to make. This card measured at
3 1/4 x 3 1/2. I have had a pack of "vellum" card stock from PTI for a long time, but never took the steps to use them.. So this was perfect to try with my something new. Image is also from the "Clear Christmas" set. total of 11 stamps. I stamped on the vellum with my "versamark" ink pad and embossed with the same embossing powder.. ( Not too bad for my first try.. right??? :0))))
Ok so now it's your turn. I would love for you ALL to play along with this one.. and remember, it's not only "heat" embossing, so pull out those cuttle bugs, Suzzzix, and Nesti and if it's something new for you then "challenge" our self.. You have all week to play along.
Just link your cards to Linky  at the bottom of the post of the blog page with a link back to your blog; or you can post them in either of our gallery..

Wednesday Retro Fresh

Hi everyone.. I hope you are having a "great week".. Hump day is always a good day.. Now it gets even better as we bring on "Yet" another new challenge over at TGF Farm Fresh Challenge Blog
Welcome to our first "Wednesday Retro Fresh Challenge!!! Now you may be asking your self what is "Retro Fresh.... Well let me tell you:
What exactly IS "RETRO-fresh"?
Well, we know that we are blessed to have LOTS of customers with us from the very beginning, back in 2008...not ONLY does that make us the luckiest little stamp co. this side of the world, but it also means there are LOTS of designs that need plenty of lovin' that maybe haven't seen daylight in a while ;)

So....

On the 2nd Wednesday of the month, the FFC is proud to bring you
RETRO-FRESH!

Each month we will have a THEME and this month's theme will be:
ANIMALS.

No animal stamps?  NOOOOO problem!  Use paper, embellishments, whatever you have!

Just use ANY TGF STAMP that is at LEAST 6 months old.
For a list of stamps/retirements, please visit our SCS Page.  The list isn't *completely* done yet and doesn't include digis as of yet, but we are working on it...it's a labor of LOVE for sure, heehee ;)
The best part?

You have ALL MONTH to play along!  We'll choose a winner and post it with our next Retro-Fresh challenge on Wednesday, November 9th, so you have until Nov. 8th at NOON CST to get those entries in!

I am Using "Hope and Grace "snuggle (my bunny is my animals :0).... I figured She is definitely what we would call "Retro and Fresh.. Love her little face and can never get tired of seeing her.. When this set first came out. I was Not able to purchase her at the time.. So When Marie had her in the Clarence section a few weeks a go I made sure I snatched her and a few other older stamps. So that's why I say if you are Not a follower of The Greeting Farm or don't subscribe to the news letter; you can be missing out on lots of great sales and surprise.. The DP is from Martha Stewart. It was a paper pack on Clarence on sale for $1.99 at Michael s...
