Greetings to all on Monday

Please scroll down!

Hello: I have a card to share.. first let me say I hope every one had a great weekend.. My Children have been home all week long on "Spring Break".. So today was my Happy day, because I know tomorrow they are all back in school. (Love them.. BUT.. after 3 days I was looking forward to Monday!! Yes by my posting time, you can see that I am  up quite late... this is the only time I get "ME TIME" ( I mean with out ANY interruptions of any kind)

I wanted to post my card for my Monday freebie over at Delightful Inspiration, I have posted every week since the first week in March (also shows me how  fast the time has passed in this month) I thought this week's digi, was such a cute image and even better was that I could use it on several challenges....

This was by far the simplest card that I have made ( my own design-- no sketch ) I just loved the DP that I did not want to do nothing much to it.. so I just added a ribbon and a small piece of DP paper that looks like "sun shine rays" coming from by cute little GARDEN FAIRY. The DP said soo much I knew that I could not added any thing else to it. I think the bright, bold, cute colors just scream SPRING!!!!!

I hope u like :0)

Because I did not do too much to the out side cover, and I Really Loved this DP (it was from a "Mat Pad") I wanted to show the full DP that is my sun rays.. Love the orange color!!!
For my card: Cardstock: Stampinup,Digi Image "garden fairy":Delightful Inspiration colored with Prisma and OMS, cut Image with my Nesie Oval, DP: Me &My Big Ideas, Stamp stament: PTI, ribbon:Micaels or Big Lots??

My Prismacolor Pencils

Hello: Since I started coloring my images. I have used Prisma color pencils.. (I have about 20) and those are what I had to work with in coloring..Please let me say that as with card making, coloring is also new to me,, I have visited "Many blogs and you tube and watch to see the many different techniques that are used for coloring with Prisma's. I like the OMS (odorless mineral spirits) with my pencils. ( I have tried the baby oil and I liked it too) Now on to my news; as I stated I only had a few of them... I have been waiting and waiting and my waiting paid off.. I won a full 120 set from EBay for $65.00 I could not afford them from Michaels even with a 50 % coupon so I was SO HAPPY when I saw that I did in fact win.. I know that reading the blogs that is how many others have purchased theirs too.. I got it with in 3 days and I can't wait to start practicing my "shading tech"

More to Show

Hello;
following up from yesterday I wanted to show another one of my new craft item I have... At CHA I purchased a "scor-pal" I got it for about $5.00 less than the standard price.. (yes I had priced them around before I bought) like what it does..still learning all I can do with it...

About two weeks ago, I saw on a site an advertisement for a Scoring board from Martha Stewart. It was showing side by side with the org Scor-pal for compressing. And it was basically the same only difference was that Martha's board had much smaller lines (widths) so that you can score even smaller lines, it came with a bone folder and for a bonus you get a envelope maker. with out going on and on about it... What made it really stand out is the Price... The Martha Stewart’s scoring board is Half the price of the scorn-pal, yes I said half the price". On several sites they had them even less offering $2 to $3 dollars off that price, though; the item was on "back order"

So to say that I was truly surprise when I saw it at ""yes" Michaels I was surprised!!!! But that is not where my story end.. One that trip to Michaels that day in my hand was a 40% coupon off for any one item and my bonus coupon was for 20 % off any Martha Stewart Craft. I GOT IT!!!! it sells for $19.99 and with both of my coupon I got it for $8. and change :-)

Happy Scrapping :-)

Getting back to my Blog.."Nationall Craft Month"

Hi to all :-)
Today was such a great and awesome day... I finish not One But Two projects.. I can not tell you the last time I sat and just used my hands to create.. ( most days I am running doing the "mom" thing and that is fine I love that part :-) , but when I am ready to sit in front of my craft table.. I just draw a blank,, In stead of doing my own I am sitting on my computer for hours finding and looking at everything that I want to try and know that I can do and do NOTHING!!!!!! so Today was a good day..

I have wanted to share some of my new "toys" that I have gotten over the last few weeks.. I have stated that my "craft budget" is slim to none!!!  ( thank goodness for Michael's and their 40 and 50 % off coupons!!!! yeahhhh. Number one on my wish list was my Cuttlebug" I was hopping I would get one at CHA but that did not happen..(the price was to much for me).   Then along came EBAY and guess what???
Yes I got one.. I had a winning bid of $45 (yes brand New and in the Box) with shipping it still only came to $60. I was lucky and supper happy to get it.. It came with  a starter set of 4 embossing folder and one die cut.. I also have added 4 A2 embossing folder to my collection (with my Michaels Coupon... yes I live at Michaels!!

If you look behind her you will see my "cricut" (baby bug) I have not moved up to the "expression" and for now don't feel the need too!

NOT DONE YET!!

After an hour of explaining to my DH what a Nestabilitie is and why I needed (yes needed) them I convinsed him to buy me a few ... I got a total of 6 in different shapes. I am learing to use it with my cuttlebug and I can say that I really like what I can do for my cards now!!!P.S. I placed my order thru "7 kidscollegefunds" Supper store.. Thank you guys :-)

One More from EBAY

looking at the price for this in the store I thought it would be something that was going to stay on my "wish list". BUT hahaha I just priced a few on EBAY and guess what as you can see I got one not only the "crop a dile" but the case and eyelets for a "winning bid" of (drum roll pleaseeeeee...... $15.71

I will have a few more items to show tomorrow and the next day.. I hope I can keep this energy up to want to create and enjoy EVERYDAY!!!!

HAPPY SCRAPPING
