Happy New Year!!

Hello everyone. I  hope you all enjoyed your Christmas!!! I had a good one. It took me all week to pack things away and get my house back to a normal.?? Day 7 A little Retro

Hi everyone here is day 7 of my 12 day card series. Today is what I call "Retro" Now these R not older card that I have posted before ( I was up at 1:00 am this morning making them and enjoying a little "me time" :0) why I consider them to be Retro is that as for the "Stamp Images" where two of the first images that I had ever colored as I started blogging and creating cards.  My daughter came to me yesterday saying that she needed me to make a few more cards ( she actually said 5 cards for her friends) and she wanted them for "today" so that she could mail them off. I did not have know what I wanted to do But as I was going thru my "christmas" DP file I found about 4 stamps that I had colored and just never made any projects with them. It is soo good to look at where you started and to see how far you have come, now please don't think that I feel that I am now a "professional" hehehe but I have learned soo much it this past year and I love being able to see that in my coloring now.

This little sweet girl is from Digital Doodling (Wendy closed her blog a few months ago but has left it open to allow any one to get her freebies (which she has a TON:0) to take and create with.

And of course this image is by on of my favorite Co. SassyStudioDesings This was one of my very "first" stamp that I bought our "won" IDK

( did not feel like coloring 50 of these by hands hehehe.  ( I did color the in his nose and added a little pink to the cheeks). It was really fun and easy to make. All 4 of my kids and I spent the afternoon making them and chatting so that was the best part.

Ok I am back with another project. My kids last day of school is this Friday so they are ending it with a "Christmas Party", beside the 50 plus treat bags that I am making. I wanted to make these "teachers gifts" for them to give to their teacher. Last year I made "cocoa slider". and when I saw this super cute little cocoa holder from "The Cutting Cafe" I knew that it would be perfect. when you purchase the holder it comes with a whole sheet of sentiments, tags and circles. I Love Regina's sets and they are so easy to use.
My image is "Baby It's cold outside" from SSD. and it also goes with this weeks challenge which is Christmas;but non-traditional colors. I also used this little tag from Lindsey's tag set from last Christmas :0)
I colored her with my prisma and OMS and then cut her out with both my oval and scallop Nesti. The ribbon is from PTI.

This is the Inside of my holder. you can see it is two sides. One side I have with my "cold stone" ( yummy :0) coca and the other side are Marshmallow and for a little extra I added a candy cane for stirring. (The Sentiment is what you get with your "cocoa holder"

On the 2nd Day I made a "Recycled" Gift Bag

Hi everyone is it me or is the days just getting shorter and shorter. Boy I thought getting an early start on my chores today would save me some time,, But guess what??? it did NOT. I look up and it's dark out side, I am still doing laundry and trying to work on some gifts for my kids and for the school. I wanted to show you my project for today. I got this sweet snowflake fairy Neva  from Amy Young for  "All That Scraps". I knew she was coming soo I just was soo happy when our "mail woman" delivered her to me yesterday. This weeks challenge was to show our last minute gifts. I could not decided what to do with her after I got her all colored. So after racking my brains I deiced to grab a gift bag that I had in my stash. I know it's old but I have never used it before It was all covered with "leaves and so it really did not go with what I wanted. Soo I got some craft paper and covered the front of the bag and then was ready to decorate it.
