A Little Relay

How is every one doing I hope you are enjoying ur Saturday as much as I am.. Got to sleep in real late today so that was good, my daughter made breakfast, my hubby is doing some yard work, and I am listing to some of my favorite music ( I like all kinds) and crafting :0)

Over at Sassy Studio Lindsay and the girls are celebrating 200 members on PCP by giving a very CUTE freebie "Sexy Sandy", And she is doing it with a little relay.. you get this freebie and if you finish uploading your card to PCP by midnight (PST) then you get another freebie tomorrow (LOVE my Freebie's)
The theme was Vintage, still not too comfortable with doing different style of cards.. BUT have pretty much let go and just wanted to try my interpretation of what that means. so please check out Ms. Sandy in her "yellow polka dot bikini"

I colored her bikini with my prisma pencils and brown marker to make her  "yellow polka dot bikini"., I ran the bottom half of my card thur my cuttlebug and swiss dot folder ( to make sand) I then sponged it with my Tim Holtz distress ink (Vintage Photo) and then sponged all around the card. Again getting to Know my cricut machine and cartridges again. I used EDPD and Stretch Ur Imagination" to cut out all the little beach back drops. ( I really love those PALM TREE!!

A Helping Hand

Happy Friday; I have to say that the week has just blown by soo fast. It was Just Monday yesterday :-) I could not wait to share my card that I just finished. As many of  you may already know that Jen Shults of WFP and a few other blogs are helping the "flood victims of the floods in Nashville with the proceeds from a stamp set created just for that. So I thought it was so great to be able to donate and get a Gorgeous stamp set at the same time.. I love love it and I want to say Thanks to all the Ladies that help with getting this together.

Her is my card ,I used my lovely lady caring her boxes and the sentiment is also a part of the set. I had the best time making this card.. I knew that I wanted to use her because she is great for "paper piecing" and that is just what I did, I paper pieced her out fit, headband and boxes. ( AND yes I think my bow is a little "Large" but...... I will get better .. LOL

Happy Scrapping

Happy Hump Day

Good Afternoon; I am truly enjoying my late afternoon early evening here in my neck of the woods. I have dinner on the stove, my DH is enjoying having the TV to him self and my kidos are doing there own thing.

Wanted to share this cute cute Boy card. I made I think this is only my 2nd one that I have done. I have had this paper pack from the dollar bend from Target for a few months now and did not now when or how I was going to use it.. And then I saw the challenge over at "C4C and their theme was of course a Boy Card. I am also trying to do much more with my "cricut" so I used that to cut out the little Dog House. My Digi Stamp is a freebie from Victoria Case that I have had for over 6 months, I colored him when as a practice with my Prisma so he is Recycled.

Happy Scrapping

It's been too Long

I hope every one is enjoying their Saturday afternoon. looking back it has been about 2 weeks since my last post.. Dealing with some Family and Personal issues.. Some time for my self It takes a while for me to snap out of my "funk" (as my mom would say) Belive me I have tried several time to clear my mind with doing what I love most which is my "crafting" but i does not always work out.

A day or to ago my Daughter wanted me to make a birthday card for her friend.. She stated that she had already promised her a card from me, So I could not dissapoint her and so I did. and one card actually turned in to 3 cards.

My first card is an entry for this week's Mojo Moday skectch challenge # 137. I got these really beautiful  DP from K & Co that where on sale for 20 cents per sheet at Michaels I knew that I had to use it. My stamp was a set that I bought from Ebay.

Receipe: Cardstock-Bazzill, DP-K & Co., Sentement: My Grafico,Stamp cut with Nestie, Emblishment
