12 Day of Christmas -Day 2 "Just Chilling"

Hi everyone.. Day 2 of my 12 days of Christmas.... Today we are "Just Chilling".. with the cutest Snow Family..

I made this card with a stamp from my "Stamp of the Week" from Unity Stamp Co.. As you already know I am a huge fan of Unity Stamp Co.. and every week I get a Fabulous stamp from them for a Great Price which includes Shipping.. .. And this one is just as Cute as can be.. Love that it's a whole family of Snow people.. one shy from my own Family,, but that's ok!!.. My DP is Echo Park "Season Greeting" great DP. I Stamped them on White card stock with my memento Black Tuxedo ink and then colored them up with Prisma and OMS... It's kind of hard to see but I added glitter to the ladies in the family.

Here is a close up . Ribbon is from Martha Stewart and so is this cute paper doily. I almost forgot I had these!! Snow flake is from "making memories"..

12 Days of Christmas- Day 1

Hello everyone.. Happy Monday, I hope you all had a great weekend.. As I am in the middle of my work week. I am looking forward to my Friday in about 2 days.. In the mean time, I am again challenging me self with keeping up with my posting and projects, I am determined to get my Holiday cards out in the mail on time this year.. and I thought it would be helpful and fun if I do a " 12 Days of Christmas" holiday card and projects series.

I have gotten about half of the 12 days done, it's only matters if I make every attempt to get them all done, mailed out and posted her on my blot to share with you all..

So here is Day 1:

I made this card for one of my DT projects so it is doing duel duties. I made this Sweet card using "TGF Cheeky Cherry Pie:.. I am in no way a baker, but my Daughter is and I think she looks cute and sassy with her Apron and Pie.

I stamped with with Memento ink and then colored her up with my Prisma and OMS.. I then cut her out with my Nesti Circle and Scallop punch and layered her. I made the paper roses a while ago, and as I was looking for some embellishments they where perfect. My Bling is just some left over that I had for a while, and then I finished of with some dots with my white gel pen.

I have heard several crafty friends say that they found MME's paper from Michael' So while I was there after Thanksgiving I was able to pick up 2 packs that they had.. This is one of them.. MME' Christmas" Gorgeous paper and Designs. Love to know that I can get them locally now.

Here is the Inside of my card.. I used some of the same DP as the Front, and red card stock that I punched with my Scallop punch.. Sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.

A Little Treat for December

Hello there, How are you.. Happy Holidays and ALL that good stuff.. I have been away from my posting for some times.. With the Thanks giving holiday and the kids being out of school, my time was made up of nothing much less.. I am hoping to start off this month a little better with my posting, as I have several Holiday projects to share with you this month..Soo lets start!!!

My first project was one that I made for my post over at "Scraps of Color".. I made these little treats that can be given out as "stocken stuffers, teachers gifts, or as a great after dinner surprise.

So I got a pack of these gum on sale at the local grocery store.. and started with my supplies

card stock cut at 3 5/8 x 6 7/8.. Then I scored them at 21/2 & 2 3/4 and again at 5 1/4 & 5 5/8

I then used some DP.. and the best thing again is to try and use up any "scraps of DP" that you may have and want to use up. I cut my DP at. 2: @ 2 3/8 x 3 5/8 and for the flap I cut that at 1 3/8 x 3 5/8. This is what it looks like after all DP is added I did use my scallop punch for a little decorative boarder edge.

Now all you have to do is use some two sided tape to make the gum stay in place and you are done.

I got these great tags from "Whimsie Doodles" during their black Friday sale.. But if you look at their freebie page you will find several great tags that you can print out and color for "Free". I printed out a sheet and colored them with my prisma pencils and Oms.. then cut out with my 2 inch punch.. Very simple.:0)

And this again is what they look like completed. Very easy to put together...If you wanted to you can pre cut all your card stock and DP and then just have an assembly line and make them easy and quickly.

I hope you like my little project. I plan to make about 40 of them for my job and a couple more that I will use for the teachers gift and a stockens stuffers.

A little Pant Splatter

Hi Guys. Wow it's been a few week's since my last post.. I have really lost my mojo for when it comes to sitting in front of my computer and post to my blog!!..

Well Mojo or not,, I do have 2 cards to share with you all.. I posted a few weeks ago, that I have been chosen to be a part of the Design to Color Challenge Crew.. Wow soo excited about that.. We have our first challenge and its a "Fun" one.

Lets break out those paint (even if it's the one's that our kids have in their toy or books) and lets Splatter them.

Just have fun with your paint and mix and splatter any way you want. As long as we see the paint in your creations.

Here is my first card I used "Spunky Spirit".. She is one of the fairies that you can find in the SOG shop.. She is very spunky and so cute.. This is the second card that I mad, with this one I did let go and had fun with it.. Now my paint, was just one of those little pallets that came with my DD coloring book. I usually don't like her to have those because I am not big on cleaning up paint.. So yes she was very much taken back when she saw that her "mommy" was using them.. I took my brush wet it, dipped it in the different colors and just splashed and splashed until I was happy with it..

Here is the inside of my card.. I used some 'washi tape" from the same DP MME " the sweetest thing
stamp and sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.. I love this stamp set,, Perfect for a card by it self our for the inside of a card, as I did here.

Here is another card that I made.. actually she was the first one that I made.. I will often print or stamp the same image twice and color them in different color patterns. Just so that I can see which one I like best..
This was the first one I did, and being that I had not tried the paint splatter technique I played it really safe for this one, as I only let the paint kind of drip and create little spots and dots..

Here is the inside of my card.. I used "washi tape again and the same stamp and sentiment.. Only She is in Orange and my first fairy was in Yellow.. Both where colored with Prisma and OMS.

Sending You Happy Blessings!!

Hello All.. I wanted to share with you a Birthday card I made for a co-worker.. Her Birthday was a few days ago, But tomorrow will be the first day I have seen her since, so she will get it then.

I used my Big Time Anya from "The Greeting Farm- Anya Celebrates". She is so fun and gorgeous as she is delivering her gift. She was stamped on PTI White Card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Prisma Pencils and OMS.. Her hair is basically the same color, so I know she will get a "kick out of it"!!

I used more of my Hootenanny from My Mind's Eye. Ribbon is from Graphic 45.

Here is the inside of my card.. The Sentiment come with Anya.. Perfect for the Front or the inside.

Well that is it, for me.. I am off to do the dishes and hopefully watch a movie, before I go to bed, Since Tomorrow is a work day for me

Seeing Double with La La Land Crafts

Hello, another Friday is here, Wow on Monday's we look so forward to the weekend, but "I tell you, by the time you blink, it's Friday already!!.

Today is my Last post as a guest Designer with La La Land Crafts" I have truly been honored to have been able to be a part of La La Land Craft. I have loved Marci and Luka from the first time I saw them. I am hypnotize by their gorgeous face.. and not to mention their style.. Every time their is a New release I fall in love and have a New favorite.

This week's Theme; I would have to say is my "favorite" as it is "Seeing Double". We are using two different images or stamps from the LLLC stamps. I chose to use "Autumn Marci and Luka with Flower. Colored them with Prisma Colored Pencils and OMS.

I pulled out my Score Pal (It's been a while!)and decided to try a 'gate fold card" and create a fun card using both my images. I love to color my images with the same color scheme as my Design Paper.. I just got a Sweet New paper pad and embellishments including " Decorative tape, from "My Mind's Eye".. The Sweetest Thing "Tangerine".. And another pack which I used for my card in my last post. ( Great Deal on them) My flowers were made with the "Lotus Notes Die"... Ribbon is from Michael's and the dots match my DP.

Now this is what it looks like from the inside. Here is my Sweet Luka with his Flowers, and a sentiment "just a quick Hello!.. I really went all out, as I thought it would be fun to try my "decorative tape", and so I used this fun strip one for the inside panel The boarder is the Wave boarder Die and the Lotus Flower die, You can get them all in the LLLC store.

I can't end my post with out saying Thank you to Iriana and Erick and all the talented Ladies. I have been soo inspired by your talents, and creativity, and I truly mean that, I have to say it again, you all really have challenged me and inspired me with your creativity.

"Its not like I am going any where, because I will be around for more challenges and New release's so see you all around.!!

A Special Birthday Hop for a Special Lady-Betty/ Simply Betty Stamp

Hello, I am trilled and honored to be a part of this "Special Birthday Hop" for Miss Betty.. I have been a Huge fan of Betty for a long time, and have quite a collection of stamp (mostly digis' and a few clear stamp).

When I got the Invitation to be apart of this hop I knew that I wanted to be apart of this.

Let me just say Thank you to "Corinnie for putting this together. She told us that Betty did not like to be fussed over for her Birthday, But that she wanted us to give her this Huge Birthday Surprise anyways.

I started with a favorite image of mine " Birthday Tilly" she is a "digi" and I think she is just sexy and has her own style just as Betty does with her creations. She is soo cute as she is making a wish and blowing out her candle on her "Cupcake" HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTY".. May all your wishes come true.!!!

Here is my card.. I was happy because I just got in the mail the day before my New paper pad from "My Mind Eyes"- Hootenanny".. It is a Super fun paper pack that is just perfect for your Birthday cards. I colored up Tilly with my Prisma Pencils and OMS.. Her scarf and earrings are spiders,, too cute.. I added glitter to them. and her cupcake. I finished of my card with some gorgeous Lace, ribbon flowers and pearls.

I made my card early Yesterday Morning, And that is when I took the Pictures, I had pretty good lighting with just a little over cast, But after I took the Pics' I realized that I wanted to add a Bow to my ribbon, so when I got home last night I added my Bow, and then took this last Pic (lighting not that good!!
