Adding a Little Layer

Hello Everyone.. Well we are half we through our week.. I am soo looking forward to this weekend. Not only is it a full 2 say weekend off for me. But it's also my Son and I Birthdays.. So we will be doing lots of celebrating this weekend.. I am posting today's "Inspiration" over at the SOC blog.This is my second post as a member of the DT, and I still can't believe that I am a part of a group of such talented ladies.

It has been almost a Month since my DT came to an end with The Greeting Farm.. and I realize that I have not made any cards with my Favorite since that time.. So it was only right that I pulled out two of the sets from the Newest Release. " Sitting Cute and Sitting Casual".. I love them Both. and wanted to show both of them off in card form. 

I created both a little Sitting room scene for or favorite Girl and Guy.. using Craft card stock and some Gorgeous DP fro "My Mined Eyes". I am falling head over heals for these Gorgeous Design 6x6 paper pack.

 Here is Anya sitting on her Couch. I paper pieced the couch and cushion. and also her cute little Throw pillow. that I added to the corner of the room and added a little Prima flower. I used the cute little frame from the "tea-riffic" set. I added a brad and some "baker twine" to make it look like a Hanging frame.

 Here is a close up of Anya and the couch.. I love the Chocolate and polka dots. She was colored with Prisma and OMS.

 For the Inside I left it pretty simple and just stamped the couch with Memento Tuxedo Black and also the Sentiment.

 Here is Ian.. Sitting in his "Man Cave".. I just Love this paper collection "MME" Fiddlesticks. Don't you just Love the Plaid couch. The Go Team was stamped on White card sock and cut out.  I stamped his sentiment right on the front both with Memento "Rich Cocoa"

Happy Monday everyone.. I hope you all had a "great weekend".. I am going to make this a really quick post as I am in the middle of Laundry, house work and phone calls, and still have to take a shower and dress for work.. (just a typical Mom Monday"

I have another La La Land Image to share with you all.. I love that you get ALL month to play along with the weekly challenge and up load them to the "customer gallery"
For this card I am entering it in the "unusual Hair Color challenge".. As soon as I saw this challenge, you know that I had to play along,,,
I used my Super cute and adorable "Genie Marci"..  I went with a "Aqua Green Hair for Miss Marci.

My DP card is from Echo Park "Summer Days".. I love this Bright collection of paper. I use my Cuttle bug and some Bling to finish off my card

Hello Everyone..I still have another Hour or So before midnight my time soo I can say Happy Friday to you all.. I had my card on my Post from early today, but I did not get a chance to post, so I wanted to do that before (yes Midnight) 

I have another card to share with you today..... In my last post I mention that I had a few images colored up but had not made any cards or projects with them.. So know that I am feeling back to my self again, it was great to be able to put together card.  For this one I used a Gorgeous Image from Saturated Canary.

 Just another GORGEOUS image from Krista. of Saturated Canary.. I  just went with these colors, a color "palate" that I saw on Pintrest, I colored her up with my Prisma and OMS.. and added  some glitter and a pearl to her flower.
I found a really great "sketch" from the "deconstructing jen". I used some older K&CO. Scrap paper, I just love using my older papers.  after I put everything together, I really didn't know what else to put on it soo I just with the Pink Ribbon, I used some Helmar Craft Glue and a Pearl. Sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.

Just a Note and a Window with La La Land Marci

Hello everyone.. I have not fallen off the end of a cliff or have been kidnap.. I just did not have any "mojo" when ti came to actually creating a card layout.. No matter how hard I had tried in the last two weeks I just have NOT been able to bring my self to make ANYTHING.. I have about 6 images all colored up for the last several weeks and everyday and night I look at them, But that is as far as I get.. 

For the last week, My sister as managed to pull me out my my chair every morning and we have started walking at the Park. Now for my I really have to "PUSH" my self every time I hear her at my door, But to be honest about 30 min in to our walk I feel my energy level rise and it feels pretty good.. So Finally Yesterday with out thinking I came home from our walk and just stated taken out DP and card stock. I just kind of gather everything together and Finally last night when I came home and all the Family was in bed I made my first Card in 2 weeks!!! WOW

 I soo Love La La Land Imageshttp://lalalandcrafts.blogspot.com/p/customer-gallery.html..I purchased a few of them and again I have colored up several of them, and they are waiting for me to create some kind of project with them.. for my card I used "Mod Marci". LOOK at her hair and that Outfit.. such a Girl with a sense for Fashion..  I am entering this card into this week's Inspiration Theme' Which is to Create a Window..... I used my Nesti Decorative Elements Punch and my Stampin UP Scallop punch to create a Window for Marci.

 Marci is colored with Prisma and OMS. I added glitter to the Rim of her Cap.. I just love that Cap..I tried to go for a Suede look to match her boots.  DP is Basic Gray "Hopscotch" Flowers are Prima and Sentiment is from Unity Stamp. Finished off with some Flat back pearls.

B is for Bunny's and other cute things

Happy Saturday, everyone.. I can't believe that I have not posted anything all week long.. The kids where on "Spring Break" which meant I did not have too much time to my self.. Which is ok; and as much as we all enjoyed the time off.. It is officially over now, as they have one more day before they are back in school.

I did manage to get a card done with one of my New Saturated Canary Images. 

 This is "duckcuckgoose".. I just love this little one and her little friend.. He found his eggs that where hidden already.  I colored my image with Prisma colored pencils and OMS... added glitter to her bow and eggs.. I wanted to try added a little grass too to make a scene..and then I cute out my image with my circle Nesti and cuttlebug. I then used some Echo Park DP.  "Country Drive". because I thought it would coordinate good with the whole Easter\Spring Theme.

 Here is a close up of my image.. Ribbon and Card Stock is from PTI.. Sentiment is from a Stamp Set I have. added some dots with my white gell pen and used some pop dots to pop her up.

 I wanted to share this Gorgeous Flask/ Thermos. about a month ago Krista had an awesome give away with this Gorgeous Thermos and to win all you had to do was to leave a comment.. So you could Imagine what a Wonderful Surprise it was to see my Name as the Winner. and then when I got my Prize It was even more Gorgeous in Person. Everything from the package to the Thermos it self was Beautiful.. And to make it even more Special I was Honored to have on of Krista's card along with my Thermos..  (It is still in it's package as I think it's too Pretty to even use right NOW!!!.. THANK YOU Krista.. (sorry I took so long to post ;0)

 I work for a "Assisted Living and Retirement" facility, and I truly enjoy it.. For Easter the "Activity Director" (Now you know it's nothing better than being able to do "craft" at WORK..hehehehe) showed the Resident's how to make these little cute "bunny rabbits" out of a Wash Tower... SOO CUTE and EASY!!!.. I am always more that willing to help out with the activity, so I got to make two of the bunny'so along with the Resident's.. Wash towel, googly eye's, pom pom's ribbon, glue gun, and a red sharpie for the mouth.

I think they would be great to make when the little ones on Easter for a super fun Activity.

Faith is When!!!

Ok I said that I had a few cards to show....Here is the second one again using an Absolutely Gorgeous Stamps Set from Unity Stamp Co.  I used a set from "Ippity" line "Faith Blooms".. Just the name it self is Beautiful.

For this card I wanted to to a CAS... and soo when I saw the sketch for this week's CPC and some of the Gorgeous DT creations. I got all the inspiration I need to give it a go with this card here.

 I used White and Black card stock.. I stamped my mat layer with my Stamp set. You get 2 sentiment and 2 gorgeous Flowers.using Memento Tuxedo Black  Ink. I round the top corned with my Crop Chomper and used a cuttle bug folder and my Cuttle Bug. and then Tied a Black Ribbon from PTI.  The Statement is just  Beautiful and yet soo True!!!!.  I know it kinds of have you "looking for More".. and that's when you Open the inside!

Here is the Inside of my card. And then you see how I finished it off with the second sentiment and flower.. I till you I just LOVE this Image.. very Much!!!!.. It just speaks to me.. We have to close  our Eyes and ears and every thing else that we want to hold on to.. to really appreciate what can be right there in front of us sometimes

(Here is a little secret.. I did NOT use my Prisma and OMS for my coloring... hehe

I have a pack of "Sharpie colored markers and because I had them out.. I decided to just give it a "Try"

If the Shoe Fit!

Hi Everyone.. Happy Monday to you All!! I  had a Wonderful Weekend.. I got several cards done here and there,, But mostly I did not do any crafting...I had the whole weekend off  ( I usually don't..right Now) So it was Family time together..  and I Love that even more than my "'passion for crafting". 

Any Way I got a  few more cards done with my "Unity Stamp Co". and some great DP  from Nikki Sivils...  

For my card I wanted to show case my super cute stamp. " if the Shoe fit.. by Unity.. (Shoe and Sentiment from  their "ittty bitty line"..  I stamped on White card stock with my Memento Black Tuxedo Ink. and then I layered it with this Super Gorgeous "Ellie's Day Out" DP from Nikki Sivils.. You've  seen me used this paper before, As it is a Favorite of mine.. and it went Perfect with my image and Sentiment.. 

Here is the Inside of m card,, I just continued with the same theme.. and used these Stamps from the same Line "Ella's Day Out".. I just Love this stamp set.. I love them both and I think that my card came out really Cute.  I hope you enjoy it too.
