Happy New Year!!

Hello everyone. I  hope you all enjoyed your Christmas!!! I had a good one. It took me all week to pack things away and get my house back to a normal.?? I know that I am not the only one that feels that we just don't get enough hours in the day. I wanted to post my card from early today.. But instead I had to be the "driver" today for my 2 older ones. They wanted to get in a little shopping with some of their Christmas gifts. so I have been to the Mall, Wal-mart, $dollar tree, and the grocery store, I have now locked my self in my craft space and will not leave until this is done. hehehehe. This is Anya from "The Greeting Farm" it was a gift from Marie to us All and I just love her she is just what is need to get me int he celebration mood, (which we will be doing at home tonight. lol.

I used  the Sketch challenge from Mercy ( her very last one :0(  Card stock is from PTI DP paper is Martha Stewart ( have had it for ever and just glad I got a chance to use it). Punch is EK Success and lots of pop dots to make my card pop.
Anya is wearing her favorite little "black" dress that I colored with my prisma and OMS, I added lots of gold bling to her including her shoes and earrings. and of course she has on her party hat and sash. I used lots of gold stickles and silver to make her really sparkle. And last but not least she is ready to toast to the new year with her favorite  ( a little hard to see)"champagne" or sparkling sider :0)

My Son borrowed it Sunday night and Monday morning Yes!! hers had also crashed. what ever sight he was on left us with a "nasty virus and no computer. So that is why I am soo behind now.. I am posting from my Daughter's because mine is still not up and running Yet!! but at least I was able to bring hers back to life. ( it only took me  two days with everything else that need to be done..
This was./is my card for the 9th day of my 12 day series. I made a circle card which I decided would also be great to make it an ornament that can be hung from a Tree or as a part of your Christmas decorations..

Today is day 8 and I just have a very quick post to share with you all. I have not done a Cricut project in a while soo today this one will go with the challenge that Robyn from "My Pink Stamper" is  hosting on her Blog. This was soo easy and fun My daughter Lynette helped me put it together. I used "Stretch your Imagination" for the gingerbread man and  Doodle charm for the ornament. she put it together and added the stickles. (she loves crafting with her mommy & so do I.

Day 7 A little Retro

Hi everyone here is day 7 of my 12 day card series. Today is what I call "Retro" Now these R not older card that I have posted before ( I was up at 1:00 am this morning making them and enjoying a little "me time" :0) why I consider them to be Retro is that as for the "Stamp Images" where two of the first images that I had ever colored as I started blogging and creating cards.  My daughter came to me yesterday saying that she needed me to make a few more cards ( she actually said 5 cards for her friends) and she wanted them for "today" so that she could mail them off. I did not have know what I wanted to do But as I was going thru my "christmas" DP file I found about 4 stamps that I had colored and just never made any projects with them. It is soo good to look at where you started and to see how far you have come, now please don't think that I feel that I am now a "professional" hehehe but I have learned soo much it this past year and I love being able to see that in my coloring now.

This little sweet girl is from Digital Doodling (Wendy closed her blog a few months ago but has left it open to allow any one to get her freebies (which she has a TON:0) to take and create with.

And of course this image is by on of my favorite Co. SassyStudioDesings This was one of my very "first" stamp that I bought our "won" IDK

Day 5- A book mark and a little treat

I have a really quick post. I am on day 5 of my 12 days of "holiday" projects and today I want to show you these cute little snowman bookmark that I made for my two your kids for their school. Tomorrow is their last day of school and so they are both having parties in their class and wanted to take something. I got this set from Whimsie Doodles blog and digi shop last year for Lynette's class but that's what I love about them is that you can use them " over and over again :0) I used the colored version and just printed them off my computer. ( did not feel like coloring 50 of these by hands hehehe.  ( I did color the in his nose and added a little pink to the cheeks). It was really fun and easy to make. All 4 of my kids and I spent the afternoon making them and chatting so that was the best part.

These are the treat bags that I made for Lynette. I added some fruit snacks a little smiley eraser and a candy cane. For Jordan I added some "glow sticks" I know that the kids are going to enjoy receiving them tomorrow.

Day 4- A Teachers Gift with a little Hot Cocoa

Ok I am back with another project. My kids last day of school is this Friday so they are ending it with a "Christmas Party", beside the 50 plus treat bags that I am making. I wanted to make these "teachers gifts" for them to give to their teacher. Last year I made "cocoa slider". and when I saw this super cute little cocoa holder from "The Cutting Cafe" I knew that it would be perfect. when you purchase the holder it comes with a whole sheet of sentiments, tags and circles. I Love Regina's sets and they are so easy to use.
My image is "Baby It's cold outside" from SSD. and it also goes with this weeks challenge which is Christmas;but non-traditional colors. I also used this little tag from Lindsey's tag set from last Christmas :0)
I colored her with my prisma and OMS and then cut her out with both my oval and scallop Nesti. The ribbon is from PTI.

This is the Inside of my holder. you can see it is two sides. One side I have with my "cold stone" ( yummy :0) coca and the other side are Marshmallow and for a little extra I added a candy cane for stirring. (The Sentiment is what you get with your "cocoa holder"

On the 2nd Day I made a "Recycled" Gift Bag

Hi everyone is it me or is the days just getting shorter and shorter. Boy I thought getting an early start on my chores today would save me some time,, But guess what??? it did NOT. I look up and it's dark out side, I am still doing laundry and trying to work on some gifts for my kids and for the school. I wanted to show you my project for today. I got this sweet snowflake fairy Neva  from Amy Young for  "All That Scraps". I knew she was coming soo I just was soo happy when our "mail woman" delivered her to me yesterday. This weeks challenge was to show our last minute gifts. I could not decided what to do with her after I got her all colored. So after racking my brains I deiced to grab a gift bag that I had in my stash. I know it's old but I have never used it before It was all covered with "leaves and so it really did not go with what I wanted. Soo I got some craft paper and covered the front of the bag and then was ready to decorate it.

It is only an 1 drive but when we are packed to the rims with kids and baggage is really not as fun as it sounds. I do LOVE my family.. Holiday card Series Day 1

Hi everyone I know it's a  little (lot) late but I wanted to post my card for my "Holiday Card Series". I should have posted this card yesterday.. But I just did not get a chance to do it. I wanted to take the next 2 weeks to really get in to some card making.. I love following Blogs and getting Ideas, and with that one of my favorite blog is "Kristina Werner" from Kwerner Designs. If you have heard of her then you know that she does the most "Amazing cards" and she gives a full tutorial on your YouTube Channel with her MACM series.

When I saw this card from last year I just fell in Love with it. So as soon as I saw the "My Mind's Eye Colorful Christmas paper pack I had to have it. and give it a  try.
