Rain, Rain and a "little Snow"

Sorry this was Saturday.. I was late posting :0)

Wow it has been  two days of some "wet" weather her in my part of "Sunny So. Cali"..It rained "all" night long last night, and today we got "Snow". So this what inspired me to pull out my much "Love" C.C. "Honey with Umbrella". I got her from "All That Scraps"   She is absolutely Gorgeous and thought would be great for a day like today when we just sat around in our PJ's and looked out the window. (even my oldest daughter came in to color with me.. Her very first time I must added We had a good time and I think she kinda liked it. :0) I colored Honey's hair and skin and her little dress under neath her rain coat with my Prisma and OMS. If you look at the rain you can see that I added some "Stickles". It really added some sparkles to my raindrops ( love it hehehehe). and you know my motto of never!! too much "bling"  :0) I added some blue rhinestone's with my I-Rock.
This Week's Challenge over the All That Scraps challenge blog is a really cute and easy sketch soo I wanted to make sure I played along.
ats_sketch_1

I actually combined two different digi's ( yes Honey is a digi )  She is plane. So she does not come with the rain or the splash. the other is the "scene" the raindrops and "splash"; is from another set I just wanted to show the actual rain. (I used "Serif Photo plus2 to combine my two.) Printed her on to White Card stock from PTI and then a second time on my paper pack from imaginisce so that I could "paper piece her out fit including her boots and Umbrella. ( She is just Purfecttttt for "paper piecing). I then cut her out with my Large scallop "Oval" Nesti... My Card stock is from PTI. I made my flower with my small EKsuccess flower punch. Sentiment is also from the Rain stamp set. I just love my Ribbon it is a Beautiful Gold shimmer Ribbon that I got in a "gift pack" Yes most is the gift is from one gift pack.. It was a HUGE and Awesome box of goodies that I received). Then I used pop dots to pop everything up.

This is the Inside of my Card. I had to use this Beautiful Sentiment from Paulette over at Create With TLC. I just have to Say thank you each and every time..Paulette ALWAYS has the perfect for what ever your card needs may be.
Here are two picks from our "weather" today.. We loved it!!!!

It is over now.. But was Soo Beautiful for the short time we had it.

Little Birdie and a Tree

Hi everyone I have a card to share with your for this week's challenge over at Delightful Inspiration. I am always in "ahh" of Faith and her creations. This is the week's freebie that we all got for playing along with last week's freebie  ( I don't know about you.. but I sure do love freebies.. hehehe.

I just loved this little image. and knew that it had to be "paper pieced". so that's what I did. I use two different DP. (one for the tree and one for the Branch and the other for the trunk) paper is from K&Co. Even the little birdie got paper pieced. when I printed "her" little pattern was perfect so I just left her as is. I colored the grass with my Prisma and OMS.

My card is a 4x4. Card stock is PTI, Ribbon ( I got it from Big Lots sometime last year"Bobbin", Flowers and Butterfly I cut out with my small EKsucces punch and YES!! had to sneak in a little bling in somewhere.. ( used my I-Rock for that. Sentiment is from a stamp set that I received from a "Win"-Our Craft Lounge.I used both glue dots and pop dots.
Challenges:

Top Tip Tuesday- Bling in on :0)

Thursday Challenge Time at ByLoriDesigns

Hello everyone I am here with another challenge for "ByLoriDesigns". I am soo not feeling like my self for the past few days. Two of my kids pointed out that I was not in my "craft space" at all yesterday (actually I was off and on but just could not get my "mojo" up to do anything :0(.
I have had a cold for the last few days but now I think it may be turning into something else ( like the flu or my Asthma is getting ready to act up on me "again" :0(..
I started on this project several weeks ago, but never got around to finishing it.. So when everyone in the house (well my DH, my youngest and then me) started with the sneezing and runny nose.I thought it would be the perfect time to finish my "Decorative Tissue Box"

Now this started out as a challenge for a totally different one than this ( like I said I started this like 3 weeks ago maybe 1 "month". I got as far as the base and just left it at that. So when I began thinking about what I wanted to do for Challenge #6 ,I was reaching out for some tissue.. hehehe and it just hit me; and this is what I came up with. You all know that I love to challenge my self with trying something new, and this one was really fun and very easy to do. All you really need is a box of tissue ( the square kind is what I used for this one.. I found the tutorial Here, if you would like to know how to make it.
When I saw "Presley" from the "Lollipop" set I knew that she would be perfect for the front of my "tissue box" she looks soo cute and cozy  in her "nightgown, bunny slippers and her little BFF to boot :0)
I colored her with my Prisma and OMS. and for her ribbon I used my Sakura gell pen and added a little "bling" with my I-Rock ( you know I had to right hehehe. .
So now I have her sitting on my little side desk; right next to me and my little one has to or needs to use a "tissue" just about every 5 mins now.. She loves to slide the cover on and off the box. I think I might have to make one for the living room or her room so that she can leave mine alone.

Challenges:
Little Claire's- Any thing Goes
Catch The Bug- Get Well
2 Sisters- Embossing

Please say hello to "Curtsy Kaylee" from SOG. It has been at least a week since my last SOG.. Say it ain't soo. The theme for this week challenge is "HEARTS" and lots and lots of it.

Don't you just love her.. She was one of the "original" images that Kristy introduce a  year ago with the launch of SOG. and now she is going to be "retiring' REAL SOON and to celebrate her and several others Kristy is having a HUGE sale BUT it's only for a limited time.. So if you want some of these "gorgeous" little stamps you better check out the store.
I just love her little skirt and the way she is curtsying in it . I colored with my Prisma and OMS; and use my sakura gell pen for her heart and barrettes. and of course added a little "stickle" to he base of her skirt and around her socks. ( I Love those tube socks I remember when we use to ware them all the time.

I was soo Happy to be able to use more of my "simply gorgeous" Nikki Sivils "Sugar Cookies" paper. I can use it over and over again ( and pretty sure that I will again soon!! hehehe. Card stock is PTI, I used my Nesti Label 1 to cut out the frames. The sentiment is from BLD it just fit soo well with this card I had to use it. I used my white gell pen to decorate my edges and boarders. ( I Love that technique, And yes I got it from an amazing blog that I follow :0). My little heart brad is from Target, and the "xoxo" boarder is my K & Co. paper ribbon, and pop dots to pop everything up.

My Hero- Super!!

Happy Friday everyone another week be hind us. I know that my kids are looking forward to a nice 3 day weekend. I am a little under the "weather" today, we are passing around not only our love but also a nasty cold to each other in my house and I have just been "tagged". with it, :0)
I want to share with you my card today featuring my "Blog Candy" win from a week or so ago, that I received from Lisa over at "The Crafts Meaow" (Thank you Lisa I hope you like it:0)))). Say hello to my newest "super Hero LUKA; from La La Land  Crafts He is in Rubber ( remember I said in my last Post with MARCI ( I totally missed spelled her name the last time.) they come in both Rubber and Digi. I stamped him on White card stock from PTI with my Memento Tuxedo Black. Is he just not the cutest little guy. I know that he reminds us ALL of your sons when they were this age. I can still remember my youngest Jordan running around the house with a blanket tied around his neck and he was off the "save the world" hehehe

I hear it from a lot of crafters that it is some time very difficult to do a "masculine" card, We never want to make it look too girly or not masculine enough an still be something we ahh over. and it was no different for me. I knew how I wanted him colored, ( Prisma and OMS) but after I could not thing of or saw in my stash any DP that would work for him.

This is what I finally came up with. I did not use any DP or pattern paper. Card stocks are from Recollections (Michael's). Ribbon (which is Blue and I think Masculine has I have. is from Wal-mart. I will say it again they have some very cute Ribbons for great prices. I found the little sentiments and logo behind him as "clip art" on the Internet. (They were like the saying from the TV show Batman & Robin. I just re sized them, printed and cut them out. The stickers are form my stash and I just added some white gell pen (not too crazy about it know that I am looking,

For my card today I used my sweet litte Evie from the "Bug & Roo collection I loved her the minute I saw her. You all know that I have a thing about the "hair" ;0))) and boy does Evie have some Fabulous hair.
I colored her with my Prisma and OMS and added my "stickles" to her little bow to give her some sparkle. I called my self decorating her "thights' I think I can do better next time :0) and her shoes where colored with my "sakura" gell pen.

Hi everyone.. Wow Wednesday already it is going by too fast. I was bragging about our beautiful Sunny skies a few days ago.. But today is a "lot" different. Soo very cold and a little rainy. (not complaining too much we are due for some good sprinkle right about now.)
I want to share my card showing sweet little "Sitting Merci" is she just not so "gorgeous" those lips, cheeks, face, and that Beautiful wavy curly hair. I could go on and on.. hehehehe I have been oohing over these little beauties  from  La La Land Crafts   since last Dec. I love them soo and finally decided to pick one up, because these stamps come in both digi and rubber, I was able to get her in digi. I colored Merci whit my Prisma and OMS. I love coloring her hair. Added stickles to her shirt and headband.

The second part of my post is showing my "loveseat" I got this digi from "Guylou's Inimitability" This is soo perfect for your "sitting digi's or rubber stamp". I love it because you can size it to fit what ever size or challenge that you want. I printed it out twice once regular and the other on this cute pattern paper that I have had in my stash for quite a

I wanted to make this card very simple as to keep my images as my focal point. I ran the card stock thru my "cuttlebug.  I used my  EKsucces punch for the boarder and the paper flower was just some embellishment from a scrap pack that I have. The sentiment is from PTI and stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa Ink. Added some pop dot to make everything pop.

Teacher's Valentine Treats with EDPD

Happy Valentine Day everyone. I want to just jump into my post. I was wondering what I was going to make for my kids teachers for Valentine. I only have to make Valentine for my younger two.. But they have Two Teachers each so that's a total of 6 gifts that I had to make. My oldest Daughter was going through my closet and said " Mom what  R you going to do with these Mail boxes that you bought but never used". And there was my Project for my "Teachers Gifts". Last Year on Robins " My Pink Stamper" (you guys know I love her & got the pleasure of meeting her at CHA Last year not this one :) Posted a video of how she "altered these mail box with her EDPD. and I just loved them. She is also having a challenge on her "blog" this week to use the color "black" with any other color. So this one will be my "entry" into the challenge The mailboxes are from Target in the $1.00 section. I must have picked up about a dozen of them last year. But never got up the nerves to try, so they have been sitting in my closet for a "year" my DH was soo happy because I had lessen my "clutter" ( as he calls it.. hehehehe.

These where soo easy and soo quick to make. The longest part for Me at least was just getting my dolls together. ( you know they had to look their best for Valentine "0). Once I did that everything else was just a snap to put together.  What is even better was that I got to use up a lot of my Valentine paper that I had, Remember I said that I also bought the paper pack from Target too. Being 12x12 I cut them in half and usually only use one half. But with this I was able to use a lot of them up too along with just my "scraps" to cut out her shoes and tops. or bottoms.

When my DD saw that I had made them she.. "Needed me to make 2 more for her friends". SO there you have it a total of 6 and you can see they all all different. So everyone can say that they have a "one of a kind"
My DP was cut at 3 7/8 by 12. and my ATG gun and just wrapped around it and closed at the bottom. I also used different ribbon or lace ribbon paper to decorate. For my white one The paper was just soo Gorgeous I did not add anything extra to it.

As you can see that it's just for more that candy. This T-Shirt was an easy fit. ( do you Love the little stamp on top of the mail flag. It has those little springs on them so they actually "wobble" I hope you enjoyed what you saw and that it was NOT too much  ( I don't want to "overwhelm' but I also wanted to make sure that  you didn't miss a thing.

Challenges:
One Stitch at a Time- Make it Pretty
PaperWorks- Hearts/Valentine
Fussy & Fancy Friday- Sweet Treats-eatables

Coloring on Kraft with Faux Charcole

Hi Everyone It's Sunday Morning and I am still up. I wanted to share my card with you that I have entered in the second challenge of SOG digi day. Our Challenge was to Print our Images on Kraft card stock and color them. Now this is something "totally New to me!!!!. I love using my Kraft for making my cards, but I have yet or even thought of "printing or "stamping" with it.
This is however not the first time I had seen the technique. A couple weeks ago The "Super Talented" Jen Shults from "deconstructing jen" gave a tutorial on "Faux charcoal" with your Prisma and OMS.. Now again before two years ago I had never even heard of "Prisma pencils" as until her tutorial I had never heard of this technique. But that is Why I love this wonderful world that we get to play and create in. You learn something new "EVERYDAY" :0). I love the fact that Jen is someone who is soo talented with her pencil and that she is soo willing to share some of her talents with us. So many blogs and projects about Copics and Promarkers. I just can't get enough of learning how to get better with my Prismas. You Must check our her blogs because she has soo many techniques NOW!!don't get me WRONG now the Girl can get down with some Copics too. I just love her. ( THANKS JEN ;0))))))

This again is my very first attempt I don't even know if I did it correct. But you know me I am always saying  that I love to step up to the challenge to try something new. And it was soo fabulous that is just went soo perfect that the ladies of SOG choose using kraft for this digi days challenge.... Now how about this little lady she is soo Fabulous and she knows it. This is 80's Kaylee ( hehehehe I love her because I am an 80's girl. I still remember my "leg warmers, my shirt with the lower cut on one side that where wore over our shoulder..hehehehe and look she even has a "beeper" on her hip.. Who did not a beeper. That was what we used before "cell phones'.. hehehee And guess what Kristy is retiring a lot of her images including her, with a 50 % sale going on at her shop until 7 p.m. tonight EST. So I was glad to be able to snatch her up before she is gone forever. The only two colors that I used for this technique were my "Black and White Prisma pencils and my OMS. that was it. I will be practicing this technique a lot more.

Because of my coloring I wanted to keep it kind of  "vintage" so I kept this card really simple too. I used Kraft card stock as my base. Inked up with  Tim Holtz "vintage photo distress ink. my DP is the same just front and back, I used my distress and distressed both papers. and added Kaylee to brown card stock. I added this  cute lace pink ribbon that I got in a gift package. added some buttons and some Pearls from Basic Gray. Sentiment is from PTI and stamped with Memento Rich Coca ink. and used my "white gell pen to add some little embellishment.
I hope you guys really liked it. and be "kind" remember it was my first try at this .
Hugs
